Wow, winning La Primavera with Pellizotti is a great achievement!

Have reached the start of the Volta a Portugal with Colombia.

Burgos wasn't special with Chaves in 14th overal and one 4th place on a stage. Next was Gp di Camaiore were Duarte won with Chaves in third! Great race! Grin The two next classics were tougher with Chaves finishing 6th twice.

Now the Volta were the startlist is really weak. Cesar Veloso is probably my biggest opponent and I have Chaves, Duarte and Atapuma who are all in top form. Definatly aiming for the win there!

I finally won Paris Roubaix on PCM12!! Grin

The last time I won it in a career was with Devolder on PCM10!

Cancellara, Boonen and Terpstra were all looking at each other so Stannard just rode past them on the final cobbled section and won by a minute. Best feeling ever, winning in the velodrome. Banana
De Bie was looking good aswell but punctured from the front group with 8km to go.

No problem, Kwiat is just a beast.
Do you play with the 2013 DB - Stats Update, or the normal 2013 DB? (Kwiat is an enormous beast in the Stats update one Wink)

What season are you in btw? Florjan Stubbe is a regen I think?

I edited him a bit after the tirreno, pcmdaily 2013, in second season and florjan stubbe is indeed a beast of a regen(won an escape with him and that s why he's in front) but he'll be superstar later.

hope that nobody minds that I'm posting about my PCM10 career in the PCM12 General forum Wink

I wanted to know some features that I always was wondering about with PCM10 that come in to play after the first two months (Transfer, NC, WC, variants, promotion, regelation) so I simulated a full season to find out. but after the season ended I really liked the team I made (signed Greipel, L.L.Sánchez and Hivert, and rewned all contracts except Tjallingii's who went to Adria Mobil) and I must say that the simulation didn't get too many wierd results

really hope that I can do better then last year Wink

@Luigi Still don't get why you don't buy a newer PCM. Wink

Anyway, ING - Shell Pro Cycling Team:

Biggest discovery:
Tim Wellens is awesome.

Team is in top-form for these races:

Istrian Spring Throphy
Dominated by ING, with Wellens being the best puncheur of the race(by quite far), and De Bie being great as well. Took 2 1-2's and all jerseys!

Settimana Coppi e Bartali
The strong startlist(Weening, Tiralongo, Kolobnev, Caruso) scared me. I decided to simulate, but suddenly Wellens, was 7th on the GC. I could keep him there, and he made it on 7th, finishing before Tiralongo(75MO/75HI) on the GC, also due Wellens' TT skill(better than Tiralongo f.e.)

Tripiques Monts et Chateux
Heroic, and I really mean Heroic, victory.
Tusveld was in the breakaway, and the whole break worked against him at some point, for some reason.
In the end, he survived! 1km longer and Tusveld wouldn't have won, Van Baarle(3rd in the end) came by at lightning speed later. Slik got 5th as well.
i1326.photobucket.com/albums/u660/jesleyh/Junk/PCM0171_zps053367ff.png

2nd stage(TT) was a 1-2-4-5-7 or something, because it's an easy TT to win. Didn't get satisfied because of that though, so I decided to simulate the last 2 stages.
2-3 in the GC is the result. Well, ok.

ING is now 29th on the CQ ranking, I will drop down later, for sure(Netapp f.e. is still lower than me).
It's just that my team already fully peaked, and Wellens being great. Wellens won't race a lot later in the season though(Already has 35 race-days, and he will ride Circuit Ardennes as well later 'this week'.)
Promotion is a serious goal for the team now, ofc. Have to get 40th in the CQ ranking(or better) for that, so seems possible. I expect myself to finish around 37th or something right now, but you'll never know that ofc.

Hy, i am new to the PCM Daily community, but i read some very good stories on the other side of the forum so i thought i share my carrer mode wt you Smile

After two and a half season of testing wt saxo-tinkoff, i decided i need a team which needs my skills a bit more. So i started a continental team, the old T-Mobile, with 100% german speaking cyclists. (Not too original, but i couldn't think of betterSmile) )

i1278.photobucket.com/albums/y509/Eder_Akos/deuchte_zps8a81a678.jpg

Obviously in my firs season is, to get promoted. I want to snatch as many TT / 1 week races wins with Tony Martin and the veteran Andreas Kloden. Nerz will also try to get almost every White Jersey he can, Degenkolb and Ciolek will be my main sprinters. As of Cobbled Classics i hate them, but Eisel and Markus should give me some pretty good classifications. They will reprsent the squad in the WT races, as i am invited to all of the Cobbled races. And ofc there are some youngster who will be great racers in the next seasons.

And how can i forget my Jolly Joker, the man who saw all, and fought everywhere: JENSIE! Grin Old as hell, but his experience is priceless Smile

Everybody loves Jensie Wink

But is this a PCT team? It might be a bit too strong for a PCT team, promoting shouldn't be too hard Wink

It would be the first time that a team that should be World Tour is (Pro) Continental tour

(BMC, Geox, IAM for example)

Just finished Eneco Tour in Season 2 with Orica Greenedge.

So far after Langeveld's brilliant classics season, we had decent results in the Ardenees, with Gerrans winning Fleche Wallone, whilst also inside top 10 at Liege.

In the Giro, Goss came 5th in the points jersey, whislt Mikel Nieve was 6th. At the Tour De Suisse, Kelderman took a brilliant 3rd place, which perfectly set him up for a top 15 at the Tour.

Lastly, Durbridge finished inside the top 5 at Eneco Tour, after doing well in the TT stages, and holding on over the cobbles.

Team is doing okay, but Goss 5th in the points jersey of the Giro? That isn't that good, which sprinters showed up, or was it a mountain-heavy Giro? Wink

Degenkolb, Kittel (now at RLT), Viviani and a couple of others. I sort of buggered up his training schedule which meant he was fatigued before he even started it.

Oh, that's a shame...
Did Kelderman develop a bit already?

Not so much, a couple of gains, nothing major.

Blueprint
After a major stat update and other database tweaks, I finally found time to start another career with Astana.

Major objectives:
- Win Giro d'Italia & Vuelta a España (Nibali)
- Top-3 in Ardennes classics (Gasparotto & Iglinskiy)
- Win the World Championships (Nibali, Gasparotto, Iglinskiy)
- Win Il Lombardia (Gasparotto & Iglinskiy)
- Top-10 in Tour de France (Brajkovic)

No hopes for Milano-Sanremo and the cobbled classics. I also don't see Guardini winning a Tour de France stage, but we will try. At least it'll be some good sprinting practice for me, as I suck at it.

The season has started well with Gasparotto taking both hilly stages and the GC in the Tour Down Under (before Visconti and Slagter) and Fuglsang claiming the GC victory in Oman. However, on the 3rd of March we're still waiting for our first win in Europe, but maybe Brajkovic can win Tirreno-Adriatico.

Haven't updated in a while. Well I did race all April races and the first two races in the Month of May.

The Maldom Dengie Tour was a nice start of the month with a 1-2 for our team. Dean Downing once again winning ahead of Liam Holohan. Bibby was also 9th in that race. The rest of the month went without victories though. The Tour Doon Hame was a disappointment as we failed to win any of the stages mostly due to being blocked. In Paris-Camembert we failed the sponsor goal of a top 3 which was tough. Downing only got 21st in that race. The two American classics the Presbyterian and the Tour of Battenkill Downing ended up 10th and 8th respectively. While in the Volkswagen Sea Otter Classic and Roonde Van Noord-Holland we were away of the race. We begun a comeback recently as Downing scored 5th in the Rutland-Melton Classic (won by Nico Eeckhout). Finally in May we already raced both the Russian one day classics. In the Memorial of Oleg Dyachenko we sent Alex Peters on the breakway and he would finish 6th in the end. While the Grand Prix of Moscow ended up with Dean Downing returning to the victories with Andrew Tennant scoring 4th.

Finished 2nd at Vuelta with Nieve. Lost 4 minutes on a flat 46k TT. Lost GC by a minute. Argh. Cam Meyer ended up finishing top 10 as well. Super domestique performance. Allan Davis got 1 or 2 stage wins, whilst Nieve also did the same, along with picking up the points jersey.
