Bak's a monster. He always does plenty of work for his leaders, and he's finally been rewarded with a GT win.
This is great reason to be happy about..for man who has worked years for others. nice revard.

Finally got to see yesterday's stage.
Bak deserved the win, although I think Amador, Casar and Santaromita could have secured the win for one of them if they'd gone earlier on the climb.

I think Cav would be even better if it wasn't for those ears. Not very aerodynamic.

That performance by Eisel is by far the most impressive show so far in this Giro.

About Giro:
Two weeks are over..and we dont have seen any mountain stage. None.
Race director before Giro:
''We made a mistake last year. While trying to make the race attractive, it got out of hand and we created a route that was overly taxing for the top riders. There were too many kilometers of climbing and many stages were too long."
Angelo Zomegnan was a little ma, gut. Giro has been always has climbers race to me. This year race profile has been riddiculous..
and also unfear for guys who was already in great shape before tour.

It's not been the most exciting race so far. It's been very tense.
However we have a number of guys looking quite good, this final week should be spectacular.

Tension doesn't work in a Giro imo. I only care about who wins in the Tour and in huge one-day stages, when I see the GC in these type of races I'm more like "oh, okay. Nice for him". |

Except the Giro is a pretty huge thing for a rider to win, and the racing should be good soon. Bit more than a "nice for him" I think.

No. Giro is hugh..much..much bigger then that. Don't think like Lance..that there is only one race inside a year to win.
Last year Tour was great..but 2010, 2009, 2008 Giro beat a tour for me..

Well, I understand Italians really want to win this... But just like in football, I'm not someone who really cares about who wins. I just want to see good football, and I'm just missing that a bit so far. Last year was better imo, even though Contador won by minutes. But I guess I'll have to wait for next year to be sure. |

Yeah, I think the 2nd biggest race in the season is a bit more than a "nice for him".

I'm not saying I like the Tour I'm just saying that the Tour is one of the only races where I care about who wins. I'm watching the Giro in a much more neutral way, and hope that it's entertaining/spectacular, which it was much more last years than this year so far. |

We may get a TDF 2011 scenario here you know. Last years Tour, whilst very very good, only took off in the 3rd week. Before then it was dull as nothing at all happened.
Seriously, this race will get good soon.

The way this final week looks this could be a classic Giro. Maybe another hilltop finish would have been nice in the first week but I've enjoyed it thus far.
