There was a car bomb outside the Londonderry counting centre in Northern Ireland. Still a place with troubles i'm afraid.

Although looking at the constituencies returned (mainly Scotland and areas around Sunderland), the Lib Dem territories are yet to be decided

They held Torbay well, so I suspect they may just be suffering from the, vote labour to keep the tories out strategy

As ever, it's the elderly who always have the greatest say, with the highest turnout and always voting Tory or Labour. Youngsters vote Lib Dem, but have poor turn out.
Plus Chesire is almost a polarity of views. Either strong Labour in the cities, or strong Conservative out of them

Nice to see Andrew Bingham of the Conservatives win High Peak. Went to school with my Dad, a thoroughly devoted and hard working servant of the Public

Well, they did just win a seat from the Torys. Although they may have lost another in return elsewhere

14 losses by Labour
15 gains by Conservatives
1 loss by Lib Dems
Exit poll actually making a quite good prediction so far, despite being rubbished by everyone
