Boeckmans takes Samyn in front of Meersman! Nice race finale!
And it was great to see De Gendt in a long break again. He'll be better at Lotto than he was at Quickstep.

Boeckmans wins Le Samyn ahead of Meersman. Then Laporte, Benoot and Lampaert.
Ettix destroyed the field on the last cobbles with only 8 riders making it.

Not quite OHN style fuckup but still putting all the balls in one basket in Meersman vs Boeckmans wasn't the smartest idea.
Samyn is a decent race I really like that brutal cobble section before the finish. |

Indeed this section was a nice addition in comparison to last years.
Several other sprinters looked good all day like Nizzolo or Farrar but lost contact by just a bit on those. So we had a small group sprint instead of 20-30 riders.
Ettix, Lotto and Cofidis were the smartest today, while in especially MTN and Trek did sleep a bit there as it was obvious that Ettix would go for such an acceleration. |

Great win for Boeckmans. Pleasantly surprised with Laporte, he's having a great season so far. Had him pegged as more of a sprinter than a classics rider, but looks like he can be both. |

Nice addition of cobbles ??? God, man it could have been murder if the rain would have made them slippery at the end. Luckily the sun and wind dried that section in the end.
Rue de Bellevue (what a bloody joke) named by a drunk and blind bloke no doubt.
It surely added a twist to the business-end of this race
and yes Laporte was a surprise ....

Bennot finishing 4th is a great result for him! I'm sure Alak will agree. |

Could've been 3rd but he was too busy celebrating Boeckmans' win |

Pretty solid victory for Vorobyev, beating some strong names in the prologue of West-Vlaanderen.

Tomorrows Langkawi with a really nice startlist.
Looking forward to the Ewan/Guardini sprint battles.
Also the GC fight could be interesting with riders like MTN`s Kudus, Van Rensburg, Tekleimanot, Colombia`s Torres plus Zeits, Seb. Henao, Brajkovic, Seeldreayers etc. |

It's full HD and only breaks up when the TV picture breaks up.
And I'm not trying to plug anything either, it's just really good.

Haas pretty much sticking with the top riders here. That has to be the most that he has done in Europe thus far in his career.

Damn BBL, that stream is quality! Looks freaking sharp on my TV. Way better than the stream I used before. THanks
Stybar and Valverde look very strong. (Bet on Styby)
