There is no winter here this season, and it would only take me three hours to get into the Alpes, so I wouldn't bet on that.
On more recent events, did we seriously already throw 3 fucking medals away today??
Women's team sprint: died on the finish straight. Dumb.
Men's team sprint: fell on the second-to-last straight. DumbDumb.
Men's giant slalom: fucking straddles the fucking last fucking gate. DumbDumbDumbDumb BEYONDBELIEF.
Don't forget the Nordic combination yesterday ...

Ouch, Russia knocked out of hockey competition. I saw a representative of the team yesterday say that if they didn't win gold, they should hide on an island for a very long time.
Said with a smile, of course, but it's probably not too inaccurate |

do you see any mountains or snow here?
How are we supposed to be good at anything else?
A young kid has to go live in Switzerland or something to ever be good on ski's or other sports then skating.
It's like expecting Togo to be good at Ski jumping
Why does this even have to be discussed?
@all: Remember that this event is called winter Olympics, not snow or mountains Olympics. And I am pretty sure that there is winter in Holland too.
There is nothing wrong with dutch people competing at the sport they like.
Of course they can do what they want, i just stated that they are one trick ponny.
Great time from Sablikova to beat Wust, will it be enough for gold?

Looking good at biathlon for czech colours. Medal should be secured, probably silver. That will take us to eight medals, nice. Cmon Moravec, you can catch Svendsen!

Happy for the italian biathlon guys, much deserved. A bit unfortunate that Hirscher missed out on the medals in Giant Slalom, however the gap was quite big enough, so I can't really complain about it.
In any case: Soukalova rawr!

Well Sablikova has been a phenomenon on the long distances for a long time. What's there to say? |

no not really, curling is a gentlemen's sport and can be quite good to watch (the play form Schotland ( )that got then to the knock-out fase was amazing) and I never missed a game from the russian ladies
ever time I watch curling, I feel like this
