No, rather disatvantages, as the game is often bugged as hell and you have to wait for late August patches anyway.

What i would like in the new game.
1. Different rider types and styles. This idea originally came from 2K and FIFA. Contador for instance is never sitting down on the bike on a mountain, therefore they should give him that characteristic dancing “style”. Also Voecklers cycling style are very various and characteristic, I think. In the beginning they should only focus on this on star riders.
2. Better celebration please. This should also be in relation to the cycling styles. I think they have 5-10 different ways to celebrate a stage at the moment. Come on, get in the game. There should be some legendary ones like Sagans “forrest gump”, Contador “el pistolero”, Virenque “the kiss”, Cavendish “cannonball” etc.
3. 1:1 gap would be awesome on legendary mountains and final KMs, but otherwise, no.
4. More game faces. This is 2014
5. Be a rider – sort of like 2K
6. Bring in Interviews with riders and managers
7. Transfer market should be harder – more realistic

Just would like to mention that there will be soon some threads about PCM14/15.
One for bugs, one for AI behavior and one for ideas what to change/add in PCM15. But these threads will be locked until PCM14 releases.

What exactly is this "be a pro" mode? Starting as a 18 year old and having to play 4 to 8 seasons before you can even think about getting a contract with a WT team?
I don't want the AI to control my team. What if they don't sign the riders you like? What happens if they fire you? And what happens, if your avatar rider does not grow into a star but just a water carrier?
Or do you want a "be a star" mode, where your avatar rider will grow into a top rider based on your preferences like in an RPG game?
But as far as I understood, it is possible to control a single rider in PCM 14, while the AI controls all other of your riders.

No different to starting with a Continental team and working up to WT status.
You would still control the team as normal you just have the responsibility of yourself.

The reason ive shown my wishes in here are because this is the largest PCM community.
And it surprices me a bit that Cyanide not are getting these ideas aswell

And I still don't think it is a good idea to have the AI do the contracts or spend money.
I am not sure why you want to remove the simulate button. Would I have to play all stages my avatar rider is participating in?
About the auto mode of team mates. I am pretty sure the AI of the new game will define the roles automatically (like in all previous games). So judging from the game presentation, all you have to do is activating the auto-mode for other riders to play in "be a pro mode". |
