After initially being a part of a four man break, Efimkin/Team Novo Nordisk decided to stretch his legs even further and go on a solo attack which at the moment has established a lead of 6m 40s over the other three riders and over 10m back to the peleton

Meanwhile the yellow jersey of Race Leader Enger is suffering big style and is out of the back of the peleton and is over 12m behind the leader

Hearing that the race leader is in trouble at the back a number of teams come to the front to help force the pace

The Russian is now beginning to suffer a lot which could be of benefit too the chasing pack behind which contains the majority of the top ten on the General Classification

He is now on the lower slopes of the long climb up to the finish in Libono

With Efimkin finally reeled in, Duarte/Colombia (GC-4th) and Ribeiro/Efapel Glassdrive (GC-6th) chance there arm and go clear almost immediately

Duarte starts to go clear as the road gets steeper

Duarte heads inside the final kilometre with a slight advantage

And he grabs a battling stage victory

Well our time in the lead has come to an end and with it goes our hopes of Overall success, but hopefully we can try to get some more stage wins before the end

Rodriguez/Team Novo Nordisk, Chabane/Colombia Claro and Cunha/Efapel Glassdrive are the trio of riders up the road with a lead of 5m 51s

The trio have got a nice rhythm going together as they tackle the early slopes of Alta de la Linea

Because of his power in the last sprint Rodriguez has found himself alone at the front of the race

The American is now on the long descent to the finish in La Tebeida but will have to be extra careful due to the snow that has started to fall

He continues to pound the pedals and has just been told he has 5m 52s on the peleton but somewhere inbetween is a lone chaser Donald/Manzana Postobon

Colombia are heading the chase from within the peleton

Donald continues to chase hard but is not making any impression on the gap

He eases off the pedals slightly so he can milk the applause of the crowds that line the road

And he raises his arm to grab a Great solo victory and a Great day in the saddle

What a great day out in the saddle for Fred, he has put a smile back on our faces after losing the race lead yesterday

Suaza/47C Colombia, Gohr/Colombia Claro, Megias/Team Novo Nordisk and Piamonte/EPM-UNE are the breakaways for today

On such a hot day lots of fluid is needed

The peleton are keeping them within a range of four minutes

The hard work from Colba Superhano has brought the lead down to under three minutes

Gohr decides its time to attack his fellow escapees

The peleton have nearly caught there prey

Blythe/Team Novo Nordisk has done a great job in getting the team to the front of the race

Duque/Colombia and Cardoso/Efapel Glassdrive start there sprint towards the red kite

And its the Colombian who makes everything look easy

Another day where we achieved a top ten finish with two riders

Team Novo Nordisk have been on the front of the peleton almost all day

There has been no change in proceedings as the same team keep up the fast pase on the front

Enger has slipped away on his own

Colba Superhano have decided to start setting the pace on the front to liven up the racing

1m 39s is his lead at the moment

The race is all back together again as we climb towards the finish in Pereira

A number of riders are trying to go clear

Efimkin tries a surprise attack

And he holds off the others to win at the line

Another great show by the guys today, firstly Sondre went away on his own and then Alexander kicks away at the end to grab our fourth stage win of the race.
Its amazing what you can do when the pressure is off.

Efimkin/Team Novo Nordisk has launched an early attack yet again and team mate Bauer is trying to make it across to him

Mountains Leader Gohr/Colombia Claro has passed Bauer and is catching Efimkin

The Russian is once again on his own at the front of the race and has increased his advantage to 2m 23s

The Colombia led peleton are at 5m 23s

Efimkin is now on the final climb up the finish in Manizales but is beginning to tire

The yellow jersey of Duarte/Colombia has most of his team chasing at the front of the peleton

Duarte and Ribeiro/Efapel Glassdrive have caught and passed Efimkin just before the five kilometre to go banner

As we approach the Flame Rouge Ribeiro is in a great position

But he doesn't quite have the strength to come round Duarte who extends his lead at the top of the General Classification

Another good effort from Alexander today but unfortunately he didn't have the energy to last until the finish

A four man break up the road which contains, Piamonte/EPM-UNE, Maes/Colba Superhano, Mountains Leader Gohr/Colombia Claro and Cunha/Efapel Glassdrive

There lead is nearly nine and a half minutes

Its Colombia who are leading the chase in defence of the yellow jersey

There lead is now below six minutes

Bauer/Team Novo Nordisk has punctured and most of his team mates have come back to help him get back into the peleton

Piamonte attacks

All the hard work from Colombia has paid off as the breakaway is reeled back in

First, second and third on the GC are now at the front of the race

And once again its Duarte who shows his class

Well just one more day left of suffering and then me and the team (especially the team) can go home and have a well earned rest

And that time trial brings to an end our time here in Colombia. We have had four stage wins thanks to Alexander Efimkin, Sondre Holst Enger, Javier Megias and Fred Rodriguez. We held on to the Leaders jersey for eight days and have held every Classification jersey except the Mountains, so all in all we have to be very happy with our time here and look forward to coming back in the future.
