And Thor failed once again in the race he wants to win - though he was not that lucky either, but he have been crap all season, so.... So the norwegians are a lilttle quiet today - nice.

EBH has totally failed. Most disappointing result in a while. Let him focus on sprints/time trials and forget classics.
hell no. He can be good and you know it.
Possibly, I am just frustrated with him a lot now. All his winter he prepared for classics and I mean all of it, it was his big goal - Get Top 5 in Roubaix. He got perfect preparation, no injuries. And he failed to deliver. I do think his energy gels problems cost him a lot, but come on.
At least I know Geraint Thomas is going be Sky's leader next year and hopefully EBH will be a good domestique and take his chances.

Tom Boonen ne speaks pas bon french....
Well, he's Flemish, how good are you at speaking your 3rd best language ?
He lives in Monaco, so he should speak it better than he just did in the interview..

Is that velodrome larger than a regular Olympic one?
Must be something like 400 or 500 m long. An Olympic one is usually 150 m long, it can be 333,33 m long too. There are many velodromes whose lengths are intermediates though.
An Olympic velodrome is 250m
I know there's been modern World Championships on 333,33 m tracks, and World Cup events, so I figured it'd suit Olympic Games as well.
After a quick check out, it seems the mini is 250 m, but it's not a strict obligation. |

It is the Norwegian media's fault, really. I had to mute the television when the "expert" commentator said that Kristoff was good enough to podium today. He won a sprint, managed to sit in with the main group in RVV and suddenly Norwegians thinks he can contend for a Paris-Roubaix win. Stupid. |

He doesn't live in Monaco any more, he moved back to Belgium. |

Though, Hushovd must have been pretty good today. A crash and a puncture, and still that high. I'd say great fighting, and cross fingers for better luck next year |

Mini Phinney with the great result! Not that his 2 previous wins would predict anything else. |

great race by Boonen, 50km solo... no one had an answer
Also great race by Boom, too bad he cramped up in the sprint. Bad timing. Possibly because he overdid it in thhe final. Attacking straight after a flat tire is not a good idea. Took too much out of him |

Great ride by Boonen! Very impressive win! Turgot is a surprise and there was one from FDJ in Ballan's group, I don't remember his name, he could be on very high position too. |

Good ride by Boom, Turgot and Ladagnous today. Boom had a shot at second place but got cramps in the sprint. Too bad. He'll return stronger next year. |

Great Boonen today. Whitout Cancellara and Pozzato it was one mans race. Little sorry for Pozzato, but he will come strong next year. Also Ballan on the podium is great! |

Epic day for the King. Totally deserved this win. Oh, and another '+' for the French, Turgot and Ladagnous, the last deserved more than a 12th place. |

Impressive race by Boonen. Also, Sebastien Turgot, totally unexpected!
Turgot was also in the Ballan-Flecha break at 58 kms, right before Boonen attacked. And in the end, he finished joint second together with Ballan.
And then to think Turgot only has 69 Cobbles and 68 Stamina in the PCM2012 DB.... |

And that's another huge surprise by Europcar. What's next, Arashiro winning the green jersey?
