Just a suggestion - but for game balance, do you think it would be better to have the nations divided differently.
For eg Contador, Valverde and Sastre on Spain 1, 2 and 3 respectively? Would make for more competitive racing. |

I think it would be better for gameplay. Otherwise it will dilute the GTs (as Spain 1 would only really ride for one of Contador/Valverde/Sastre etc) and even the Classics (i.e. Belgium with Boonen/Gilbert/Hoste/Devolder).
But it would also be more work for AaB |

That has happened to me when ive tried to have more riders than is the limit for a team. Have you tried to limit all of the teams to 25 riders for the first season? |

25 is the limit for custom teams in a career for the first season, but i dont know if that will help |
