Quita just really suiting this race can see him holding this to the end.
Getting some team performance from our guys to have the entire team in the top 40 Nerukar seems to be protecting Moscon which is keeping him well positioned and because of that the team seems to be near the front of the bunch which then is keeping us in front of spilts. Can't see this holding If we have to do any work on the front of the peloton at any point but a man can dream
I vaguely remember the next stage not being nearly as selective as it looked on paper but can't remember if that was due to no attacks or not, can see another sprint between Lagme and Quita |

Busy moving IRL, but now there's time to comment a bit on the stages. Overall, I'm not sure I like what I'm seeing from the team. At least Rodriguez is still in a good position for a result in the GC.
S1: Big disappointment from Schomber. All the way down as 16th at the end of the day... However, Bissegger in 7th is decent, and Rodriguez slightly overperformed with a top 20, which saves the day.
S2: Azman among the top 10 favorites for the day but loses 2 minutes. Team invisible all stage. At least Rodriguez holds on.
S3+4: Slight underperformance by Sureda in S3 evened out by a slight overperformance in S4 (13th and 5th respectively). Nice to see us trying to set up a train even though we haven't brought the riders for it.
S5: Bissegger loses time, but he wasn't intended for GC anyways. He should outperform Kukrle overall IMO, but Kukrle probably gains a lot of motivation from wearing the leader’s jersey.
What a race from Quita until now!
Excited to see how selective the last two stages are going to be.
If Rodriguez can stay in the top 10 of the GC, we will be happy, even though we would have liked a tad more success in the first 4 stages.
Thanks for the reports so far!

Contrasting the first hilly stage only Aidan finishes in the front group now. Not that the teams classification was a big goal here but feels a bit of a bummer. Ah well, two more stages for Aidan to ascend in the GC.

Errazkin is nicely placed for if the next two stages are more selective. Zariff continues to underperform what I thought were quite low expectations, not that it wasn't totally foreseeable! |

Quita in fire here. Commiserations to you also Ulrich, that is just bizarre to have one of the top top favourites in Yates just decide to throw away 7RD’s like that. So bizarre.

After the 1st stage Benoot was 130+ and i was really afraid. But two really good stages and we are back to the mix. Thanks for the reports. And Merry Christmas! |

A pretty good stage from us! Conci with the set-up to drive a good pace in the peloton for Storer to benefit from taking 4th and moving into 3rd in the GC. One more stage, if he stays where he is then I'll be happy!
Merry Christmas all

Merry Christmas Aidan! A very attractive race from him, and with a bit of luck could have been higher than fifth in the GC but that and all stage results combined make it a great success.
Thanks for the reports UU, congrats on the GC win Kaiser!

Was quite happy with stage 6, seeing Stocek enter the top 20, but then the fear I had in reading we absolutely wanted to be in the break was confirmed : very bad day for our lead puncheur, and we come back with nothing.
Still work to do to figure well in these races.
Thanks for the very nice reports Ulrich, congrats to the winner

Good comeback by Benoot after the cathastrophical TT. Finally a GC race where he doesnt flop.
Congrats for the winner and thanks for the reports UU. |

Storer delivering a Christmas present to the team in the form of a very strong stage win! So close to taking the GC too but 2nd is a great result from this race for him. After a slower start to the season, the team is starting to deliver
Thank you for the amazing reports!!
