Dunbar taking the lead here was expected, but we still have two riders on the podium and four in the top ten.
All of them but Cattaneo should fall back in the next two stages, but it's looking good for a great GC result.

Sterbini holded up the bar high for my team, I hope we can finish the job on a good note and move quick to the next one |

Nothing spectacular from our guys, but we continue to hold strong. Great results for Dunbar who is just a spectacular choice for this race. Hoping we end up with more big groups to finish.

Terrific ride from the big man exactly what he needed to do. What a win!
Good buffer to Oomen and other now too - but the next stage is pretty hard. One bad day is all it takes to lose it all. Hopefully Dunbar can stay safe and wheel surf his way to victory. Fingers crossed.
Thanks for the report

What a weird stage. Stoked to hold on to the lead, but just so much randomness. Dunbar without any support all day, despite having a team with some really good climbers and other teams having 3, 4 or 5 riders near the front? Only Canty sneaking to the front behind Dunbar towards the end but no help from him. Dunbar with a very brave ride as a result, taking the chasing for the main group to keep the gap steady.
Oomen on his wheel was odd - he had to have had a bad day. Thought it was good tactically (for PCM standards) sending De Plus up the road which forced Dunbar to do the work, but Oomen not attacking is strange. Feel like an attack would have sunk Dunbar. Buchmann and THJ are back in the fold now too - gonna be hard keeping them back tomorrow. I think if the team effort today is anything to go by we might have to be happy with a podium here if we’re lucky. Fingers crossed.
Thanks for the report! And congrats BW!

We played that very poorly. Even the podium will be hard now..
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

It was fun while it lasted, but this downfall was not what I expected. Terrible form from Cattaneo today.

I had given up hope after the TTT and ITT results for Buchmann, but this result is great. I don't see taking another minute out of Dunbar tomorrow so the win may be secured, just hoping that we can hold onto the podium and our minor placings. Thanks for the excellent reporting Ulrich!

Well this is a turn up didn't expect Houle to be able to hold on for that long at the end and the result is fantastic. Praying for a 2nd miracle tomorrow and he manages to hold on again |

Waiting for that stat deflation thingy to work, because my guys are all surely 85 at IRRELEVANCY Tbf we're withing our top20 goal and may even finish with Rachid just outside that meaningless threshold.
Congrats on the win Bush. That stage surely wacked the GC. One more to go.

Congrats Eden and BW!
APP is doing well overall, climbing to 5th is clearly good enough for us.

Well after stage 5, the team did a nice job, and we got luckly that Garcia is 2nd on mountain standings, willing to see more of that kind of performance in the near future |

This honestly went better than expected for me... and was still an absolutely bomb. A shame to just not be able to benefit from a good TTT, but still a great race.
Fantastic races for Dunbar and Johannessen and thank you UU!

The race should have ended after stage 3 or 4 in our opinion, Cattaneo even losing another place due to a miniscule gap. Have to admit Cattaneo's prime is over.
Thanks for the reports UU and congrats Eden!

Some decent stage results from Bystrom, making the TTT fiasco all the more costly as he would have been threatening a top 10 in GC if he had just finished with the rest of the team. Can't complain about a decent showing against strong opposition otherwise, thanks for the nice reports and congrats to the winners! Always good to see an Irish win.
