The cobbled stage was a disappointment, but otherwise decent enough race for us so far. We lack the quality hybrid racer for this race at the moment, so hopefully Pedersen and Oliveira can hold on decently over the next two stages.

Another stage survived which is our approach and mindset right now. Tomorrow going to be the tough one to hold onto the GC lead but fingers crossed we can do it

Another strong effort from Cosnefroy and the team to keep the break under control and stay with the stronger Puncheurs until the finale. 1 more stage to get through!

Nice to see Ansons in the break but also really strong stage by the aker duo and Valter. This race has been very unfortunate for me.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

This race is treating us very well so far. Hope Leknessund and Aleotti can keep their places in stage 7. Malecki, Peters en Godon doing the same would be a nice bonus.

Lack of selection on the hills is a shame but not unexpected. Hopefully De Bie and van der Poel can hold onto their positions on the final stage and we'll have a decent points haul coming our way. |

Going into this race, I was thinking to myself how a few years ago it would have been really good for Juul-Jensen, given his mild cobbles ability.
Seeing (not quite) vintage Juul-Maar dominating the hills from the break and earning the KOM jersey almost brought a tear to my eye. I'm so thankful we got to give him a retirement tour, and he has absolutely made the most of it here with that performance, saving an otherwise pretty empty race for us. His aggression and tenacity on full display—one last time.
Thank you for that report Ulrich, I'll cherish that one.

That's the hero defense we dreamt of, but didn't really dare to hope for! Having Anderberg stay inside the top 10 is sensational, and the passive racing among the puncheurs also definitely helped Wisniowski stay inside the top 5. Looks like we were also lucky no gap was given just ahead of Wisniowski. Truth be told, that feels deserved after the cobble stage here and the TT in Arenberg
Kind of expect the final stage to be for the sprinters, but if Wisniowski decides to go for it, all it takes for a GC win is the stage win... Not impossible, and I definitely hope we try for it! |

A massive win for our season
Very proud of Cosnefroy and the team He's shown his strength in the past but this is definitely his biggest result for us in his career so far. A strong TT and then doing enough to stick with the Puncheurs and the Cobble specialists in other stages. Selfless work throughout to try and set-up for Ovsya as well which says a lot about him as a rider.
A great race for us with Ovsya managing a stage 2nd place too.
Thank you Ulrich for the reports throughout Always an interesting race with the mix of riders in the Top 10.

Thanks for the reports, UU! Unfortunately, can't say I enjoyed the way they played out.

With how the TT and the cobbles stage played out, Wisniowski in 4th and Anderberg in 9th is a brilliant result. Having said that, I’m also very disappointed to see how the AI handled the race. Only passive racing on the road stages designed to make a difference, both cobbles and hills, was unfortunate and far from what was aimed for when creating the race.
We end up with good GC points and basically zero stage points. Definitely surprised, but a good ending points wise, eventhough I hoped for more pre race.
Congratulations on the super important GC win, LLS, and thank you for your work and reports, UU! |

Kalaba awakes on the final stage to take some more points. For a race where stage results were the only target, getting nothing more than eighth is a disappointment
Congrats LLS and thanks for the reports UU!

Not the race we wanted, but once the cobbles GC fell through, that was always gonna be the case. Nice to have another guy in the break today at least, and Juul-Jensen winning the polka dots is a huge bonus. Both because it makes up for Per's stage result losses, and because it's just a phenomenal way to end his career in our colors.
Thanks for the reports Ulrich!

What a terrible race from the AI point of view, but that's PCM22 I guess. Hopefully we can come up with a solution for the race next season.
Enger really carried our scoring with very consistent sprint results throughout. Otherwise this was an anonymous race for us.
Thanks for the reports.

Great GC and YC result for Gazelle. Unmaxed Leknessund finishing podium here is a good sign for the future. Same goes for unmaxed Aleotti in 11th.
Always sucks to see AI shenanigans of course, but nice to be on the positive side of it this time.
Thank you Ulrich. And grats LLS!

Very annoying to have lost two Top 10 results due to random splits on easy stages.
Overall, at least it's been a good sign for the future that O'Brien finished right behind Cavagna, a role he's supposed to take over sooner rather than later.
Also a nice showing by Stork until the cobbles hit.
Lovely reports UU, lots of splits to capture!
