Oh no Sad Why were there still so many KoM points, and why did Vermote get so many of them? That's a heartbreaker for Mugisha, I wish he had at least contended it. Add that 10th place in the sprint and it's a pretty abysmal stage for us. Then again, we leave with a stage win, 10th and 18th in the GC and 2nd and 3rd in KoM and points classification, so it's a good race ... but it could have been so much better :/

Wow, Manninen finishes a very consistent sprinting week in style! Although the judges clearly were in his favour, guess the Germans never really liked the French Pfft

A shame to lose out on the GC in a way like this, but in the end this is still an amazing race for us. Never have we scored close to this amount of points in one race (nearly 500), never have we won a team's classification, and never would anybody have expected a rubbish rider like Robert to finish fourteenth in any race Grin

A pointless race participation for Demare figuratively and very nearly also literally, but I'm still very happy to have won a stage here at home. Smile

Second in the U25 for Ganna despite an underwhelming GC result for him and Sütterlin at least gives us some representation on the final podiums.

STRG+V my Herbiers comment here, tastasol and redordead!

300 points here is atleast 100 points better than anticipated, and thus bring Vlatos on a new record high almost 550 points for a season. That's very nice, and shows that with some luck and a flat hierarki he can actually be a very solid PT leader. He scored almost 500 points last season aswell.

Coquard now within 75 points of his 1000 points benchmark with Moscow and Tour d'Afrique left. Should be possible indeed, but could also fail in a big way. Kiriakidis with 11 points in a PTHC race is also very solid.

Good final result for Van Der Sande and a final GC top10 for Howson is a very decent haul. Thanks for all the reports red and congrats to the winners!
