Tour of Lithuania - Discussion

Asked Kraftwerk for a big push and we went full bonkers with a 3 man attack with 35km to go! Very exciting to watch but eventually didn't translate into better results.

Dieteren, Moazemi and Bilbao all finished nearly 6 mins down on the stage.

Arndt dropped a place to 12th in GC.

Rumac and Boily managed top 30 GC, good depth points.

Best of all Kraftkerk squeezed into 3rd in Teams by 10 seconds.

Reasonable points for Kraftwerk to maintain a PpRD that will keep us in PCT.

Thanks for the great reports Ulrich and congrats to Valv for the win.

Two great stages with 2nd places in the first half, an anonymous to bad-ish second half - but given the race's HC status, that should still be about 100 points for us. Which obviously is great for a 4-day race. Still a bit disappointed to see Moscon tumble down the rankings on the last two days, but I guess others just had better recovery - and better daily form.

Congrats to valverde, finally a really great result for you! Amazed by Frankiny's fantastic season, too - don't know why he's so great, but he definitely is!
And thanks for the reports, UU, very entertaining!

Los Pollos seemed allergic to Lithuanian breakaways Pfft The stage win makes up for that of course. Thanks for the great reports as always, Ulrich, and congratulations to valverde on a very nice win here!

Min saving our asses once again. Too bad the team failed to live up to the performance on stage 1.

Anyway a fitting winner in Kinoshita, can't be unhappy with that! Congrats valv!

And finally, thanks for another masterpiece of an event, Ulrich! Cheers!
