Shame we couldn't grab a stage win with the local or even hang on to a stage placing in the end but still an exciting day for the team which I guess is our goal for this season Still pissed off about Stage 3 though

Another poor result by Perera, he really should be doing some damage against this competition. Slightly worrying for the rest of the season, too, but then again he was a late 50k signing, so not a big deal if he scores hardly at all. Good job by Vendrame going into the breakaway, unfortunate that he couldn't score a few more KoM points. Maybe he can build on that in the upcoming stages though. It's what we need for this race to give us any points at all.

Well, that's something unsual - two stage reports done in a single day. I know it was done years ago, but in recent seasons it was one stage per day.

Useless AI If Borges and Dyrnes join a big group Lutsenko should've done so too.

Too bad nobody of us was in the break. Mutsumine or Munoz could have scored some points maybe. Congratulations to Indosat on a big win! PCT teams doing well in stage 5.

I'm not impressed so far... Evonik with a bad showing and the AI not really all that great either (seeing the leader jersey given up this easily doesnt seem to make too much sense to me) |

Good to see both of my 79 sprinters already having their share of unexpected amount of happiness so early in their seasons. A great stage win by Bertilsson, a decent breakaway attempt by Polnicky by otherwise this race is pretty much terrible for us. Sagan a major disaapointment so far.

Well, that was strange
What a great win for Jensen! Three in the break so I imagine not having to work all day to save up the energy for that final attack. Phondigam doing good work supporting him is good to see. Great victory, and now a surprising gap in GC behind.
Still so strange that the peloton let 5th GC not only join the break, but also let it stay away. I think something like this may happen again tomorrow as my team here isn’t very strong and probably won’t be able to control the peloton if Tryg couldn’t. So definitely expect some form of shenanigans tomorrow I guess too.
Thanks for the report!

Wow great to see Bennett improve on the day everyone finishes together and Meurisse go in the hilly breakaway on the day they don’t make it to the line!

Bit of a lazy stage. Break no real threat and the big puncheurs finally doing their thing. Congrats Croatia, good win for Lutsenko! Jensen doing very well to keep things together and finishing strongly. Another day in yellow is lovey Hopefully a fun stage to come before the Tt and mountains come in to play.
Thanks for the report!

Nice to see Ulloa going for it again, but it might be a better idea to send someone like Mutsumine or Munoz in the break for these kind of stages from now on. Funny how the peloton AI works sometimes imo. Some smaller breaks on flat stages are uncatchable, some gigantic breaks on a more undulating route get caught very easily. Nice win for Isostar, congratulations!
Thanks for the great report, red

There we go, very important win by Lutsenko! We obviously hoped to be better placed in the GC with the Mountain and the TT stage still to come, but now we got a stage win which at least somehow justifies bringing Alexey here. Now let's hope for more of that stuff by Alex!
Nice reports so far, thank you very much redordead

Sorry for being absent. Moving to a different home in the last week hasn't helped.
Terrible result on stage 3, kinda blows our expectations for this race. It isn't helping to see these hilly stages not creating gaps either. Cool seeing Borges going on his own on stage 5, but finishing 3rd is another small blow.
Great win by Lutsenko there though. Jensen with a great ride so far as well.
Thanks for all the reports red! Looking to find some better luck in the future.

Congrats Cro! Good to see puncheurs dominate on a stage like this.
I see this as a good stage since both our main GC guys (Chiarello, Tvetcov) finished before the first split. It's only 59s but gaining that on guys like Ranaweera, Carapaz, Keinath or Slagter could be crucial to scoring. Both of them looked even better than that and had there been an earlier split, both of them probably would have been up there.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Not completely happy so far especially with Leung doing so bad at the prologue. Gidich with a decent 2nd place in the last stage! Nice to see Lutsenko winning! |

It ultimately didn't matter that much because the breakaways had no chance to succeed, but it is a bit puzzling that we send one of our two by far worst riders of the squad into the breakaway twice in a row now. Someone like Eyob, or even Vendrame building on his first try, could have easily competed for the KoM jersey.
Now the final mountain stage is our last shot at scoring points, which I don't see happening. Not that we expected much from this race, but a bit disappointing nonetheless.

I feel you, Quispe (and Ulloa) attacking instead of Munoz/Mutsumine. I can live with Ulloa though, but Quispe should have retired after the sprint stages
Congratulations to King Power on a nice win, and thank you red for another nice report

Oh yeah, what a win for Gidich! Can’t wait to see him dominate in the next few years, super exciting rider. Congrats, Bikex. You know he always has a home in Indonesia if Thailand ever gets too much for him
Jensen doing well to bring the favourites group together and then coasting to the finish is good to see. The yellow jersey bonus surely helping him here, but a good sign that here and in TDU the punchers that have done well have had good Acc so hopefully Jensen can keep this kind of riding up throughout the year.
Thanks for the report
