Seriously? 2nd? . That's something at least. Now to see Nava and Costa non-attack their way to protecting their positions.

playing PCM my favorite thing is riding TTT's and winning one is not quite the same, but still awesome to see. We have set ourselves up great and now we just have to survive tomorrows attacks

This TTT was insane. Losing only 33 seconds to the winning team, and Bystrom safely staying with the team is amazing. Probably he won't climb much in GC, but a 8th-10th place in GC + the stage win would give us great points for this race.
Wtf we were doing second!!! at the first check point

Btw, Vien, you should put at least the Top10 of U25 standings, not only Top5, because the first 8 riders score points there

Well, I suppose that could have been a lot worse, but a minor GC placing has always been secondary.
Please JJ, do something fun to show the jersey, and maybe even make something of it in the results!

Hmmm, our 2nd and 3rd best TT riders both dropped. Seems odd maybe but the gaps werent as bad as I thought, and it really only matters about Kinoshita anyway.

Ag, hectic stuff as the GC turned upside down there. A shame Roux slipped down the rankings but a home top 10, given he should keep it tomorrow (I hope I haven't jinxed it), is by far our best hilly result this year and way above expectations coupled with the stage win and day in yellow.

A stage, that suits Ulissi and he delivered. The final stage probably won't be that kind of elimination race, but given the uphill finish, we may see some changes in the GC.
Tough day for some riders.. Betancourt doing his stuff.

Good to see Ulissi winning. Far too good rider for such low amount of wins in most recent years. |

And we're back down on the ground again..
5th and 6th is okay considering Ignatievs hill Stat, but a podium would've been nice

Fantastic stage for the team, hardly improvable! Bystrom finishing 6th in the stage and basically securing a GC Top10 ahead of the final stage, though it sucks to loss 2 spots in GC because stupid time gaps not being given to both Fablok riders.
Perfect job by Stefano to snatch the KoM jersey Those points of day 1 while the team was pulling from the bunch now gives us a very nice reward Actually this could be the first KoM jersey in our team's history. And he even enters the GC Top20...
Really great performance from Antoine too, just a shame that yesterday he lost those 2 extra minutes, because he could be in the GC Top10 fight, and now he's down to 16th. Also a needed mention for the great team effort to keep us 2nd in the Teams standings, with a small chance to overtake Nordstrom

JJ, please do something. Oh, and make it a good thing please. Cracking is not what I'm asking for.

The fact that Cuming is higher on GC than Hategeka says a lot for GCN. He is underperforming again and at this rate won't be at the team next year!
Cuming in the break for some tv coverage is nice but shame it didn't come off

Oh my, that was amazing So so happy to see Debesay join the winners roll (I forgot him in my Stage 2 post) of our leaders and in some style, a fantastic solo victory and surely a crowd pleaser for the African fans! I love him, amazing stats for breakaways and his ACC and REC left the break and peloton respectively in his dust! Roux doing well to secure the top 10 and the points classification, a couple of surprises that makes for an amazing home race with our two stage wins The lads surely showing up to save our focus.
Thanks to Vien for the excellent reporting, great to have you around And congrats to Matt for the GC win - it was high time Ulissi didn’t get screwed in a TTT and so this has been a long time coming
