I've updated the results with the Teams standings with the tie-break method. Festina leads comfortably ahead of the final stage from Aegon and Iberia. Puma is the only team that didn't have three riders in the main group in S2, so they are dead last in this classification
Yeah for some reason, my entire team bar Demare seems to enjoy themselves on the way in and makes up half of the dropped riders, on this stage as well. Literally no reason for this, but luckily I don't care here.

I can only be satisfied because the team is doing what I wanted by putting a rider in the break every day. But on the other hand the chosen riders have not been the best, at a stage like this Bartl would have been the ideal choice.
Kupfernagel continues to disappoint more and more, is not able to be in a discussion of the stage and almost always in the middle of the pack...

Getting better and better. Shame that Mohs didn't do well on the first stage, but 6th in the standings is all right and hopefully we can secure the Top 5 on the next stage. Otherwise we would leave the race with a 6th place happy, so let's maintain this momentum

A KoM classification win in PTHC yields 32 points, and that's pretty neat if you ask me, we rarely win some of these pointless things

Good to see our other riders trying something when Boeckmans again seems unable to do anything. Hopefully Korsaeth will keep in touch with the bunch tomorrow. Liking his offensive riding this season.

Nice. Groenewegen - Swift can work.
A bit worried that the game is using Van der Poel instead of Sbaragli mainly! Also Bauhaus, Martinelli should work better speed wise.
Just one more stage to go and please another win/podium to secure a great GC as well.
Groenewegen without bonus seconds yet, but as leadout in such field, it`s hard to also get a gap.
Thanks for the report. |

Itami doing decently here. Another Top 10 on the last stage though, and with bonus seconds should hopefully get him up into a Top 10 GC position.

nice to see lo cicero on the podium after Jocelyn Bar (who we sent to Festina this transfer season) beat him on the first two stages lmao
pretty dissapointed with the team so far and not expecting much, but another podium on the last stage would be pretty nice |

chose the wrong team for this race, no breakaway appearances hurt a lot when your main sprinter is out classed in this field, thought stage 3 would be more promising but then we lose about 30 places in 500m and end my hopes of a top 10 stage finish...

Nice. Three years in a row. Really cool to see and nice job by Groenewegen once more.
That is the result needed after Qatar. Let's hope the season has more of this performance in other races and less of anonymous racing.
Congrats to SotD as well for your goals accomplished with Coquard.
Thanks for the reports. |

Love my team, came expecting nothing, back home with probably about 100+ points thanks to mostly breaks bonuses. That's really neat.
Thanks Aquarius! And congrats roturn of course, nice to see your sprint train doing its thing

Great result there in the end. Also a very nice bonus to take the Team GC. We won't do that a lot this season for sure.
Emerson Santos is very often among the final 20 riders so I assume he is doing a good job, but I'm surprised he doesn't work out as the final lead-out. He must be a tad too weak afterall, eventhough I think his stats are great as a leadout.

Was all right I guess, 3 secs up to 4th by us not being ready on the 1st stage leaves 7th and 19th in the GC.
Not bad, but not great either

98 Danilo Kupfernagel Berg Cycles s.t.
This can only be a joke, I can not take this game anymore. My team is weak but there is no team that can resist this. Better to demote me already to pct
Thanks for the report

From explosion to damp squib.
Cav did just enough to achieve our goal but the total absence of any leadout on any stage is not reassuring.

A lot of emotions in this one!
First, a perfect sprint preparation in a leading train, then Demare somehow gets blocked on a 15 metre wide road (??), just to bounce back nicely in the end.
There could be disappointment over missing out on the stage podium by a hair and therefore on the "best non-84 sprinter" award overall, but then again it's a two second gap on only 7th.
131 points by my calculation, three stage Top 5s, I'm very happy with this race. Should be just about our pprd so far. 82 sprint seems like a good investion and a sweet spot AI-wise with good backups.
The star of the race however, Filippo Ganna!
100+ points it seems, and I'm really happy for Euskaltel that our deal is officially of mutual benefit now. I hope he'll still take a pay cut!
Just magnificient awareness on stage 1, and protected rides for the rest. A thank you to Groenewegen for reliably dropping after his leadouts! He just has the perfect stats for such a feat.
I hope he won't use this result as an excuse for taking it easy the next couple of seasons, but it would surely be deserved.
Finally, thanks for great and fast reporting, and congrats to both Aegon and Festina for decent points.

Would have liked Itami to move up into the Top 10 but he was nowhere on the final stage, so kind of a disappointing 14th but cant say I was expecting too much better.

A good enough final stage there.
In the end this is a great race for us PPRD wise with Filippo Ganna finishing 11th in the GC, 1st in the U25 classification and 2nd in the KOM on his way to a points haul of just over 100 which was very much needed by the team! @cio93: indeed happy to get a great return from him (we'll take him back next season on loan too!
Moser a little disappointing but didn't really expect him to sprint with his lowish FLA stat and given the quality sprinting field here. His Top 50 GC along with Fonseca, Vingerling & Mas being in the Top 100 gives us a few points which may be valuable in the long run.
All in all, an unexpectedly good race and we'll need more aggressive riding throughout the season to keep us up come October. Congrats to all those managers who tasted success here and thank you for the quality reports coming at quite a pace!

Deja vu. From hero to zero.
Well, not exactly. 2 stage wins, 3rd in both GC/Points standing is not bad at all. Moreover, TOP 5 goal achieved
Good to see Swift on fire again after miserable Qatar.

Apologies for not following this race, but it was a fast week for me. For Prio, though, this looks like the beginning of a slow month, with Avelino on the ropes here. Luckily two top20s will patially make up for that.
Nice race for Aegon and Festina after Qatar. Swift right where he should be, congrats roturn.
And thanks for another race, Aquarius!
