PCM 15: AI Behaviour
RJ_MikiFan
Recently I started playing PCM 2015 again. In Pro Cyclist Mode I tried to create a rider like LL Sanchez, so my goal is to go in the breakaways in grand tours and win stages…

In my second season I was present in the Vuelta a Espana and at the moment I’m in the third week of the Tour de France. What I notice is that the peloton never take a day off and always chase the breakaway (always very small groups like 4/5 riders, even in difficult stages) without getting tired… So as an consequence of that it is impossible for me to win or even come close… After 18 stages in this Tour there are four different stage winners: Degenkolb, Sagan, Kwiatkowski and Alaphilippe.

It looks like the AI consider every stage as a single race like San Remo or Liege… So that’s why GC-leader (Kwiatkowski) wants to win every stage, quite unrealistic! And maybe that’s also the reason the top ten of GC is full of puncheurs (Kwiatkowski, Gallopin, Alaphilippe, Sagan).

I use the PCMdaily EP V1.6 update. The variant of this TdF is the 2012 version…

I can’t believe this is only a gameplay problem, Cyanide ain’t that bad?
What could be the problem?
Any tips maybe?

Thanks!!

I haven't had that problem.

My races in second season have all been dominated by a GC man Froome, Nibali, Quintana rather than punchers.

I wonder how you are behaving on climber stages...are you dragging the punchers with you and keeping them close to the climbers?
