Yes, last night i started a carreer, with a weak continental custom team. In etoile of besseges, stage one and two, i could get into the breakaway at the 2 or 3 try.
And yes, you're right in something, there are some times when the others teams don't let you go into the breakaway with a rider, they up the pace, but if you change for another rider, they let you go into the breakaway. |

that's the reason. with Vaikkanen in the break, your team has no obligation to close the gap to make the sprint, making it harder of the other sprinters teams to close the gap for the sprint. that's the way the AI thinks in flat stages (which is realistic imo, you didn't see a rider from Giant in the break in the Tour)

Yes ok but logically if he is in the break he can't help later? But we won't help too to chase so why not even if i'm not conviced at all

Well if you intend to play the flandrian classics I advise you to play with Cancellara ; because the AI is going to treat you like Cancellara no matter who you are.

I was 2nd with Degenkolb in Roubaix. He was in the main group (like 7 riders) in the finals 40 kms, Cancellara attacks but we can't follow him, i tried but i preffer to not spend the bars and go for the 2nd place.
I don't know, but i like the simulation in flandrian classics. |

Exactly , you can ride away with a strong rider , but if you have a weaker rider you won't get much cooperation , well the group will cooperate once they have gotten rid of the human player.
And that's if you're lucky enough to avoid a "you shall not pass" from a weaker rider on those tiny cobblestone section. |

I think the new game is pretty good OFFLINE. It is impossible to play online. We are some players how has been playing together for many years. We always play either a full Giro, Tour or Vuelta, but this year there is to many probs with online stage races! We have only been able to play TdF untill the second patch came out, then that stopped working every 2nd stage, and after the 3th patch the Giro got the same problem! So now we can only play Vuelta, and that is of course only when we remove the 3 timetrials, which has never worked in any online stage race this year! So if you want to play online, don´t buy this game |
