The favorites for the race were Barloworld and a strong CSC with some other small teams with contenders.

Rasmussen Basso and Mayo got away and when Mayo fell off Basso sprint it out against rasmussen but rassmussen held on by an inch. Rasmussen has the lead but with a timetrial Basso still has a chance.

In the Volta a regiao de Agarve Davis took the sprint in the first stage but the race would be decided in the big Mountain stage so Only time will tell if Soler can take the win.

A breakaway got away in the tour of California stage 5 but it was reeled back and in the end I took 1st and 2nd.
