Season 1
I loved my new school. Everyone was so friendly and I made a lot of friends really fast. Like I said I loved AFL and soon enough I was playing in the AFL team at school. I was involved in every sport and won some things too! I still didn’t know much about cycling. I had started watching the Tour de France but I never really thought anything of it for another few years. At lunch times me and my friends were always very competitive in sport. We played 4 different sports a year. Cricket, Soccer, AFL and Rugby. The main sport for us all was AFL and I eventually got to the level to play in the big stadiums.

Season 1
Okay, so when I say play at the big stadiums I do really mean play in the big stadiums. Except it was in Auskick not at the top level or any sort of level. I played on the grounds of Etihad Stadium and coming out to see a massive crowd was amazing. People were watching me. I got to share a great moment with my father. I came back to my seat afterwards to see him smiling from ear to ear. It was the most amazing moment of my life. I felt like I was on top of the world. At least I was till the end of my last year of Primary School.

Season 1
At the end of my last year at Primary School I found out that we were moving to QLD 2 states away from Melbourne. Well I said good bye to my favourite house ever and we set off. Upon arrival I saw more cyclists then I had ever before. It was like this was the cycling central of Australia (just like Melbourne is the AFL Central). It was amazing, it was then I realised that I wanted to join a cycling club.
