There are just 3-4 races before the Vuelta so the guys who wants to have a good rank in Vuelta came to TDP which have 2 Mountain and 1 Hill stage.

A hillly stage which can effect GC and Mountain classification! The the last hill can be open for attacks also , its done last kilometer will be a hill! There should be a big action !

Interviewer : After your great win , what are you planning today.
Sagan : If I feel good I want to get a great place on today's sprint
Interviewer : The last hill is that for you , isn't it?

Rabottini , Millar , Bardet , Casar and Locke attacked and have a gap of 6 minutes.

The break got a 3 minutes of gap and it looks like they are going to win. But there will be no changes in TOP 20 (GC) because the nearest rider has 8 minutes gap from Valverde.
15 KILOMETRES LEFT
Gilbert attacked and Valverde followed him and make a gap of 15' seconds.
12 KILOMETRES LEFT
Also Nieve and Sanchez got on group but the gap is still 15' seconds with the peloton who leads by Radio-Shack !

6th Stage of Tour de Pologne. This stage is so hardcore that you are climbing over 60 kilometers! This is the last chance before TT to increase and decrease some gaps.

Interviewer: We are with Valverde! Well a top stage and you have an advantage of 1'20 to Sanchez.
Valverde : Well Its not done. 1 second is important on this stage but I think 1'20 minute advantage is ok for me on TT.
Interviewer: You got your green jersey. Would you protect it?
Valverde : My main objective is protecting Yellow , but If I feel good why not?
Interviewer: Now , the second , we are with Sanchez! You need to try hard on this stage right?
Sanchez : 1 second is important for us so I will try my best!

EARLIER TODAY
A group of 8 riders attacked and have a gap of 4'05.
But peloton is giving their everything to catch the break.
The gap is now 1 '30.
30 KMs LEFT
Break hasn't cought yet and last 30 KMs left.
The gap is still 1'30
20 KMs LEFT
The gap decrease to 45' , as you can see peloton is increasing speed.
18 KMs LEFT
Aaand.. Daniel Martin attacked , the current yellow jersey leader Valverde ,
followed him. But the gap was not high.
15 KMs LEFT
Daniel Martin and Valverde stopped attacking then S. Sanchez came in front.
10 KILOMETRES LEFT
Valverde and Martin attacked again and have a group of 3 with a rider who dropped from the breakaway.
LAST 7 KILOMETERS
Vaverde's group caught. The break is still on the lead of 45'.
LAST 5 KILOMETERS
And last 5 kilometers attacks from breakaway make the gap 50'
LAST 3 KILOMETERS
Sanchez , Martin and Porte are trying to attack from the group.
The break has caugth to the peloton which is leading by D.Martin and Porte.
And Valverde goes on to the attack , Martin , Porte and Ullssi is trying to catch him
And a great victory to Valverde! He came up front of Porte , Martin and Sagan.
Team report : Sanchez was not good for the last sprint but he just lose 20 seconds from bonus.

PODIUMS :
Yes , Richie Porte was the fastest today , but where is Sanchez , yes , he was very fast on the 1st side on the stage and he is 14nd with a gap of 1'19.
Congratz to Valverde for winning the 70th Edition of Tour de Pologne! Porte steal the 2nd from the Sanchez and also had a gap of 39 seconds!
Spilak just missed the 3rd by 5 seconds.
Rabottini won the Mountain Classification with going on break for 3 days and won over 8 Mountain sprints.
Team Classification was won by Katusha.
Also , the Most Active rider award goes to Rabottini with 3 day break!
OBJECTIVE : Top 10 in GC COMPELETED
