Our primary goal is to keep on podium,so,we're not so interested in attacking his yellow. If we get chance we will use it,but thats hardly to believe! Tonight reports!

New Zealand Cycle Classic
5th stage
Its final day in New Zealand this year and we have to defend podium.
Stage profile is almost the same as last stage so Vinther will have to do much better than yesterday.
Few morning attacks finished fastly, but 3rd one was successful one. We wanted to rest our riders today so we didnt send anyone in breakaway. By the way,one of the breakaway riders was Cesar Veloso, trying to get KoM jersey again.

Again,we will skip to the last 20 kilometers because there is nothing interesting to show.
Veloso is the last rider who stood at front but he got caught about 16,3 kms to go. Now everything is ready for the sprint!

2 trains,Rapha Condor and Rabobank show their strength, this time,Vinther gone at Edgars wheel, trying to defend his 2nd position. That was bad decision due the 2 trains gone 10 meters in front of peloton. Vinther was in hard position. He was full of energy,he sprinted much, much faster than anyone in group, but awful position brought him there. At front, tight fight between Clancy,Zabel and Eeckhout.
Clancy won, here is how it looked alike at finish:

But,can we keep on podium? Let's see at rankings.

Nicki Sorensen, veteran of this sport, decided to finish his career in this small team.Nicki will join CULT at october, when season finishes. He signed 2 years contract. Great thing is that he won't finish it before his 40. year,so, we can look forward to get some better result. He will also be amazing addition on psychis plan of team. He is expirenced in fully meaning of that word and that may help to all of these young riders.

Yup,great news, the only question is,how strong he can keep 'till the end of the season. At the start,we said to him that our riders will develop fastly and he knows it,so,he said himself that he don't expect leader position. Maybe some stage win and he will be satisfied. Tonight presentation and reports of Tour de South Africa! Thanks for support!

1st stage

Well, honestly,i have to notice that i had shock-moment when i saw Ciolek at this race, knowning that we have really small chances for stage win here.

Great weather for us,even 30+ celsius,just perfect for bike-riding.
At the start of the stage,4 riders decided to create morning breakaway and they succeed in that. Group was small but good enough to keep in front.

At first KoM sprint, Nikolaev from Itera - Katusha "outsprinted" everyone and got it.

Nothing happened, gap was bigger and bigger. Nikolaev got even 1st intermediate sprint. Nice performance from him today!

MTN - Qhubeka set their train and that was caught really fastly,,they finally got them at 7kms to go. Right after they got last rider from breakaway, we decided to attack (knowing that we dont have much chances in final sprint). Andre Steensen was the one that attacked,it seemed really good!

But at the end, they got him at about 100 meters 'till the end. His teammates got awful positioning today,so,really bad result there. At least we have shown our colours/sponsors at short breakaway
As expected, noone could beat Ciolek so he got 1/1.

Accidently i forgot to export results, sorry for that.
2nd stage

Hilly stage,exactly what we needed!
As you can see from stage profile,at the start there is KoM sprint. Noone reacted there until 500 meters to go ,where our rider Kasper Linde Jorgensen attacked.
Suddenly, that became really good breakaway. But,sadly enough,no one except him was brave enough to challenge Tirol - Cycling and MTN today.
In 40 kms he got 9' of gap. That seemed seriously good!

25 kms to go,as expected MTN is at front, trying to get him.

They finally caught Jorgensen at 13,5 kms to go. Now,party can start!
Many attacks in last 15 kms but only 1 lasted. It's Jure Golcer's (Tirol) one.
He was strong enough to keep in front, but can he take victory?

MTN Train got him at 2,3 kms to go,our riders are prepared for sprint, unfortunately Ciolek is there also, who can get it?
Nothing pretty interesting to show from position and something like that,so we will skip till the end. Some nice sprint from our riders and again, win from unbeatable Ciolek (this year).
Haha, again, sorry i forgot to take SS,i was just too obsessed with game. I got only this.

Ciolek is frustrating. I dont think he is good enough for the Old Helshoogte Pas, so theres your chance. Take a lot of time of him. Groenewegen had the same scenario and eventually won.

Yepp,my tactic is to send 1 rider in early breakaway,1 rider when they catch breakaway (if they) , if that fails , 1 rider just before finish, and save Reihs for sprint. Weird ,ha? Haha, thanks anyway!
