Picked up my copy today (PS3 - username: Mresuperstar) and so far I'm on the fence. Don't get me wrong I love all the improvements but I'm struggling to score goals and even worse trying to defend. Maybe its just the fact that I'm use to the Fifa11gameplay so much. But that's only against the CPU. In online seasons mode I won the 10th and 9th decisions pretty easily with a few games left over each time. It's a learning process I guess.

Are anybody doing a VP-career? I've started two; one with a sentral attacking midfielder and one with a forward.
I've been donig the SOM-career the longest so my clubs have been:
- VÃ¥lerenga->Norwich->Fulham->Real Madrid
I've just started my forward-career and decided to start at UCD AFC in Ireland  Pretty fun so far.

I hate to admit it, but the career mode in this years FIFA is nothing short of shite. Infact, it's worse than it has been since there haven't been any improvement.
The VP-mode is just as bad as it has always been, the AI might be a little bit better than it used to be, but it's still awfull. For some reason, when you are in a perfect position to recieve the ball, they always wait untill they pass. However, if you have 4 players marking you then they will go out of their way to make sure you get it!
And the "actual" career mode: sweet Juicy Jesus! Am I the only one who is annoyed out of my mind because of the constant pop-ups telling you about how some player in the Polish league has handed in a transfer request?
I think one addition would make it alot more enjoyable. It wouldn't actually be an "addition" since they had it in the game for FIFA09, or something, but then removed it. I am talking about "income". For some mind boggling reason EA have decided to remove the income from things such as ticket sales, etc. The only way you can make money is by winning titles, and by titles I mean either the Champions League or the Premier League since those are among the few tournaments that actually give you a decent sum of money.
I am playing with a Norwegian club and I made it to the group stage in the CL. Here's a breakdown of the payments a club gets from UEFA in real life:
- For making it to the qualifiers: £1.67 million
- For making it to the group stage: £3.11 million
- For each match played in the group stage: £480.000 (480.000 x6=£2,6 mill)
You also recieve a bonus for each win/draw. Lets say that I lost every game in the group stage; I should get a total payment of £7.38 million, a good sum of money for a norwegian club. Instead, I've been awarded the grand sum of £0.
EA brags about how their game is "realistic" and how they wish to "mimic real life". Is not getting a single pund from the CL "realistic"? Look at all the small clubs who makes it to the CL, but doesn't stand a chance at winning (Basel, Braga, Cluj, etc.). For them participation in such a tournament is extremely important because of the huge financial bonus it brings with it.
For you, on the other hand, if yu cannot win the tournament participation in the CL is nothing but negative since it means your players will be tired before the following league game.

Just to add something to my previous post regarding the manager-part of the career mode; the VP-mode is laughably bad! I mean, there's is not one single good aspect of it. They've managed to get the correct sport, but that's about it.

For the code you have to give it in at redeem code which you can find on the xbox dashboard and the manual should be with the game. Hope this helps.

New FIFA, new Aston Villa Career

I bought Cazorla in the summer in a deal involving 15£ million + Bent to Arsenal. He's amazing but lacks one thing you need in FIFA - pace. And so Reus came over as swap in this January window.
My left side ( right on the pic ) is freaking destructive. So much pace with almighty Alaba, Nzgobia ridiculous skills and pace and then just add overrated Agbonlahor <3
Benteke adds strength and height to my attack. Clark wanted to leave this summer, so bought Shawcross as decent replacement.
Last year finished 10th and won Carling Cup. This year, midway through season and laying 6th, not far too 4th.
This summer I hope for a new right back or CMD. Both Lawton and Ahmadi are good, but need something better. Pondering Fellaini as a choice.

Just FIFA and PCM I guess ( didn't play it in 2 months now ) Stronghold Crusader possibly too
Legendary is fun. Sometimes quite challenging, but sometime I wish they make even bigger step than Legendary.
Anyway forgot to add that managed USA side in International carrer for a year. Then left the job and truly wanted to wait till Belgium place came up. But then Portugal offered me a job and it was too good to refuse at the end
