Apparently Chris Anker Sørensen broke his leg today, attending Saxo Bank's training camp in Israel.
Sucks
EDIT: False alarm! Nothing was broken.

A cat ran out in front of him during the parade lap.
It was part of the "Tour of Jerusalem" which appears to me to have had the same level of sporting legitimacy of your average post-tour crit. Contador "broke-away" and won, with new Saxo Bank Israeli Ran Margaliot taking second, and Niv Libner, who is from Jerusalem and whom some are hoping may follow Margaliot to the top of the sport in the next few years, taking third.

To be honest, I've always thought they should hold a World Tour classic in Jerusalem. The Israeli government is always looking for stuff like that to get onto the map, and would be willing to shut down the city. The Palestinians would probably be okay with it dipping into East Jerusalem for legitimacy purposes, plus the backdrop (politically and visually) would be insane, and with the ridiculous layout of the city (extremely hilly, with lots of steep climbs, not to mention narrow roads, cobblestones, and sharp turns) it could be one of the most entertaining races. I really want someone to try this. I think the security situation is stable enough now it really is doable.
I never thought I'd say this, but come on ASO. You are the only group with the clout to pull this off... |

There is a rumour that Alexandre Vinokourov bought his 2010 LBL win as mails prove that he payed Kolobnev 10.000 € the next day.
Strange story...

It's actually 100.000 € (yeh I know probably a typo, but just so people know).
And Team Gianetti officially folds.

I guess this is his source: https://www.bicici...p?id=45540
It says that Geox won't continue in 2012, riders and staff of Geox need to find themselves a new team, if not, they won't have work in 2012. |

Jesus, ok, I know he has been related to Gianetti's team, and surprisingly came from nothing in 2010 to win a GT in 2011, but I think it's a bit exagerrated to say that... |

Exactly. Sending him to Norway is just too harsh: https://maps.googl...h&z=15

That place exists as much as Pepperland or Mordor/Gondor, etc.
Could be an interesting holiday trip though. |

I had Competed with him last year and he got great potential. I shake my head after Lance Armstrong Put Faith into him after the Drink Driving Incident and now he retiring.
I knew he was a waste of time. |

Actually, Hell exists. It's in Norway. And three places in the US and one on Cayman Islands.
Hell, Arizona, U.S.
Hell, California, U.S.
Hell, Michigan, U.S.
Hell, Grand Cayman, the Cayman Islands
Hell, Norway, a village in Stjørdal
