Ouch! A very tough beat for Van den Brouck!

Really bad luck for Pirelli and luck and anger for Ferrari.
Salerno with good chances now for a good overall if he can fight. Also riders like Raisin or Brandt gained time on the big favourites today and are decent time trialers. Seems to become a really tough battle. |

Bad luck for Van Den Broeck.. he will have to learn from this and get a better position within the pack in next MTF.. he's still within reach though, imo.
Didn't expect a breakaway-win here, but it's for sure great news for our team that our young gun Bennett finished 4th in that stage. No chances in GC though.. but another decent result for the Oz after yesterday's 5th..

The bad position wasn't the main problem tbh. It was the reason he got caught behind, but he was not to far behind Valverde. Valverde's team mate Ulinowski and someone else just ran out of energy, and the split happened.

Not really sure where to put this, but some Travel Agency requested to follow Meiji's twitter account
As for the stage, I thought it was good. I think thats been one of the first true breakaway wins of the season, too bad Lagutin isn't the best climber. But nice win for Ferrari.

My riders are next to be caught out by narrow roads, I can just feel it.

It's clearly a conspiracy but whatever, there are still stages left to get some of the lost time back.

Congrats Ferrari As for CSC-Orbea, Rodas left Colorado behind again (Deja Vu). Don't be surprised if he loses time tomorrow and then makes it all back up on a breakaway win, haha .

Lowe doing exactly what was expected... a lot of nothing. A top 20 will be an achievement at this rate.
Also, bad luck for Pirelli. Not the end for VDB though.

Cool stage. Just a pity to have two riders in the breakaway and don't even be near the win, but I guess Salerno was just in a class of his own.
Congrats to Ferrari though! |

interesting, Degenkolb worked as perfect lead-out in Qatar and here he doesn´t bother to sprint at all

Greipel's first victory this season. I also think that it is his first victory for me at all. Not sure on the last one, though.

Hmm. I see. Still, seeing Greipel win is pretty rare.

Looking for a strong showing from Ivan Kovalev in the stage 4 ITT.
(Possibly our 3rd stage win of the year )

Congrats to Greipel! Nice win for him.. our riders keep joining breakaways, that's good news. Also an okay 6th for us today.
