As mentioned in the topic, that rule is to prevent names of the riders being spelled wrong -- not stupid, new team names which are difficult to spell. |

yeah, well theres rules and then theres reason. I can understand that precision is needed in riders names..This is simply rules for rules´sake..

Any thread thread titles incorrectly spelt (for all 3 types of transfer) will not count and will be deleted. Make sure you get it right. Even if both parties agree within that thread, it still won't count. However, accents are not needed on names.
EDIT: again Sporting, this is genuinley quite scary

The rule in question:
Any thread thread titles incorrectly spelt (for all 3 types of transfer) will not count and will be deleted. Make sure you get it right. Even if both parties agree within that thread, it still won't count.
It doesnt just say the rider name it says the thread title, which for steals, includes the team name.

You really do hate me since I tried to steal Kirchen dont you? Afterall, you did recently turn down a 300k offer on Hammond from me, which we both know is more than he is worth.

enough of the smack talk people, Crue you must admit, even if it is a stupid rule, you broke it
and Sporting, zutcorp doesn't hate you (probably)
and to be clear the rule isn't spoiling the fun, but people complaining about it does slightly

sigh, if I had a good place to spend the 200k youd have him in a heartbeat. Offer me a decent rider in return, you can have him. I just dont have all the riders I want, and almost noone for cobbles, so I kinda need him!
again, I dont know anyone here personally, I have the greatest person respect for people like you and Crommy who use loads of their own free tim so I and others can have fun.
The reason I "complain" is only - ONLY bacause I care.

I admit that it formally is a rule, but the intention with the rule is still to prevent rider names from being spelt wrong - not the team names since they don't matter at all. |

ok, so now zutcorp has admitted he doesn't HATE Sporting, and Crue has kind of admitted that he broke a rule
can we get over this arguement, carry on with the game and wait for the next arguement

It's a poorly phrased rule, but I'm afraid it's very clear.
What isn't clear is if you should lose a steal attempt, and due to the fact that it's the team name misspelled, when the rule was designed for rider's name:
STEAL REFUNDED, and used once again on Frank Schleck
