I don't expect much from Gesink tbh. Rather see him do well in the Tour.

Looks like Wiggins got mechanical problems during the prologue.

If that is true, I dont understand why the BBC is the only one saying so, theyre not that great on cycling reports.
Youd have thought that at least the Team Sky website might have mentioned it aswell, but they dont.

Hey, the BBC cycling "reporters" are geniuses
What annoys me so much is that the media plays such a major part in determining popularity of sports, and the BBC's plain ignorance in the cycling department is doing a good job of setting the standard that will stifle any growing enthusiasm there is in Britain.
I love the way the Vuelta a Catalunya got an article when Flanders didn't, like LBL. It also bemuses me that there is such an emphasis on national success, and that alone is more important than the races itself, apparently. If we're so obsessed with world domination, why don't we just forget sport and all watch military-style parades on TV? Wonderful. |

To defend BBC, also Eurosport wrote he had mechanical
But I agreee. They re preety useless. Not so long ago on BBC breakfast they reported that Gadret won giro stage. No a word from them later about Contador winning whole Giro
Though I throughly enjoy Mike Bushell cycling adventures. Still remember Mount Ventoux trip and Etna with Cavendish. Gotta give guy the credit

He was riding during the worst rain and for that reason took it easy.

What is wrong with Eurosport. Delaying cycling because of tennis, and between 2 average players on top.

Nothing in my opinion. It wouldn't be very professional from them to start broadcasting a game and then stop it before it's over.

Exact. How would you react if they stop to send a stage in dauphine when lets say 15 km left, to start broadcast a tennisgame?

The problem is the game had just started when cycling broadcast should have started. I'd rather have 10min more of cycling then 30 min less.
