Oh well, the crap still keeps coming... Apparently, trusting Di Maggio wasn't a good thing to do.

Why would you? He got absolutely nothing besides a good hilly stat. All his backup stats sucks.

Nice stage, I guess the 3 riders ending top 3 are decided. Now it will be interesting to see the internal fight between them. My money on Cancellara

Cancellara in the lead, with a time - trial to decide the winner, I think everyone's money is on Cancellara

A lot smaller gap this year. Unfortunately the group was also quite a lot bigger, so Sammy lost a lot of groun here. Hopefully he will be able to take some positions back in the final TT. I believe he got a slight chance at ending above Matti Breschel, Geert Steurs, Nikolas Maes and Niels Albert.
12th GC here would be very much apreciated. So far I'm very happy with the performance.

Posthuma will overtake Franzoi in the TT so I hope Franzoi will manage to hang on to the top-10. Looking at the competition and the length of the TT, I believe he will be able to do it. Maybe even nab the 8th place from Baugnies.

Two in the top 20 for CdC. Not bad for a South American team in Northern Europe. |

So (without crashes) a top-3 for Devolder. As expected. Not much more to say about that. |

Nice second for Castañeda - can't really hope to compete with Boonen. |

Nice neutral stage with points going to the right teams after my perspective. So another good one here. I need a good amount of luck in the TT from Sammy to close the gap on Pearl in the GC though...

Hold on to that 8th spot Franzoi. Vital not to lose points to the teams bellow on the team rankings (and actually gain a few on La Gazzetta).
If there ever were any doubts that Sony had this season in the bag, this race ended them.

And almost Burghardt aswell
Great to get 12th here from Samuel Sánchez plus a stagewin and a second place. Frederik Nolf wins the mountains jersey, Impressive! I might take 40pts back on Pearl here, which is much needed!

That is if Ballan stays on his bike.

Ah so the most unpredictable race of the season as ended and it's much likely game over for Energie as expected. On the other hand I believe it's time for Sony to release the fireworks now.
But I wanna see those rankings asap SN

Pretty satisfied with Posthuma's 7th place, one place higher than last year when he was riding for La Gazzetta. Also, 2 second places should equal one stage win.
Quite surprising to see Ten Dam not finishing the race though, with like 70 km to go, he just decided to get off his bike and go home earlier.
