A downhill ITT would be awesome, but sadly it is way to dangerous.

Lundi 4 juillet : Olonne-sur-Mer (85) - Redon (35)
Mardi 5 juillet : Lorient (56) - Mûr de Bretagne (22)
Mercredi 6 juillet : Carhaix (29) - Cap-Fréhel (22)
Jeudi 7 juillet : Dinan (22) - Normandie.

So, here's the pattern. Starting in Vendée, prologue + stage 1 probably, then to the West, furing 3 days, then heading North.

Wild guess is they'd go to Elsaz to do one stage there, and then Alps before Pyrénées.

No Châteaulin finish, as mentioned in previous messages, and no Aber Wrac'h ("Wrac'h" sounds like "vrak" if you ask) start. It'll finish in Mûr-de-Bretagne, and start the next day in Carhaix.

But only if they took the chains off the bikes, so it was all about bike handling and not power!

I like the idea of having a long TT before the mountains in order to "force" climbers to attack and gain time.

Then maybe put a TTT after the mountains, when several riders have already dropped out. Not a long or very difficult TTT as last year, but long enough to have it pay off to still have a full squad. Maybe even drectly following a hard mountain stage, so that teams would think twice, when using their teammates on that stage
