what did it make to you to baet your ancient team
anyway, good result, 2h just ahead hunter...
here is no time for sentiment

Stage 1

Opening stage is mostly flat, Paolini is undoubtedly best sprinter in the field.
And he shows his power on first point sprint...

...whilst Ruggero Marzoli secures KOM jersey by winning single mountain sprint.

Yippee! Luca´s daily form is +5!!! So he can´t be satisfied with his position in this super long train just before sprint...

...and decides to keep after Uros Murn. Other sprinters leave that train too

It looks it wasn´t good decision. Uros Murn is terribly slow and Paolini must ride on his own last kilometer...

...he´s still leading...

...and takes first season´s win for our team!!! Although questinable tactics of team manager, he was just too strong today!

Stage 2

Today we are heading to longest stage of this race including some small hills. However Luca Paolini is marked as main favourite again. Will he repeat his success from yesterday?
BOTD including Italian champion Simeoni.

Last hill, BOTD is over, Luca feels comfortably (+5 again!!!) and has no troubles in climbing.

But many of others don´t and peloton has split into several parts. Only 38 riders (only Paolini and Failli from ASA) remain in front and prepare for sprint.

Luca is in perfect position just before sprint!

But he is blocked few moments later. Matteo Carrara, Daniele Pietropoli and Jure Kocjan are moving forvard, whilst Topsport Vlaanderen duo (Neyens, Goddaert) are struggling.

Luca doesn´t give up!

He goes past Carrara in last hundred metres...

...and celebrates another great win!!! 2/2 for Luca now!!! He seems to be unbeatable here!

thanks mate
as promised:

Stage 3

Last and most hilly stage of race. We can expect many attacks for leader jersey from other teams.
40km to go and we are now in the steepest climb with gradient over 11%. Luckily for Paolini, pace isn´t too high and he can hold with only small difficulties.

Penultimate climb, Soler and Casar attack!

Only Casar stays in front at peak nad he looks very very strong today.

Failli decides to chase him.

No chance for Failli...Joly, Carrara and Paolini catch him easily in last climb. Visconti, Pietropoli and other contenders are close too.

Last kilometer for Casar.

His team mate Sebastien Joly sets high pace, only Carrara is able to hold, Failli and Paolini are both dropped.

Sandi Casar wins today and becomes overall winner as well!

Luca Paolini did well today finishing 7th, but lost podium overall. On the other hand Francesco Failli moved up to 7th in GC. I can´t be disappointed with ASA performance here.

Profile of race is hilly nad competition is pretty good here, including names like Visconti, Soler, Trofimov, Voeckler, Taaramae and many others. I think we will see very interesting battle. Hope my boys will show our power and make some good result. Paolini and Failli are leaders.

Ruggero Marzoli was very active during whole race, attacking again and again...team ISD haven´t let him go away though. That means we couldn´t see any BOTD today and first important action came up to last bigger hill. After many attacks and counters, group of 19 was made. Paolini, Failli and Marzoli were in front with almost all main contenders.

Trofimov makes first move on flat passage.

Visconti, Voeckler, Paolini, Soler, Bernucci and Moncoutie respond few moments later.

Bernucci attacks right after chasing of Trofimov!

Only Visconti can reply, but it looks he missed the right moment!

Chasing group with Paolini, Trofimov, Voeckler, Moncoutie and Soler.

Lorenzo Bernucci held his advantage until finish and can celebrate superb win for LPR! Visconti is 2nd...

...and Luca Paolini finishes for great 3rd place!

That´s not all, Failli leads next group on nice 8th place! Another great day for ASA!
