Is there another solo train like Cancellara as a future prospect?
I´m in the beginning of my third season and Cancellara is still the best solo trains in the game. |

So I'm approaching a season goal and I want to sneak into top 10. So naturally the game decides that a german .HC race needs to be raced by Valverde, Costa and Vanendert.

I have a HUGE problem. HOW do I do it well in TTT? I'm talking about stage 4 in Tour de France. I'm SKY, and a big favourite. I schould win it schouldnt I? Atleast top 3? Well, thats not happening! Im almost last, 1 minute behind winners. And I have played the stage 10 times with different tactics now. Playing on hard. Any good TTT-tactics?
PS: I did it well in PCM12, so the same tactic doesnt work! |

Short TTT are bugged on PCM. It's nearly impossible to do well, best thing is to quick simulate... |

Wow.
I just started a new career, and after my experiences with others, I looked up the number of riders that have a sprint stat limit of 80 or higher.
97.
67 real and 30 U23 riders.
Comparison: 32 riders for MO, total.

The only way to do well is to play on easy, I've never finished in the top 10 short TTT on any other difficulty.

I've always just sim'd TTT stages tbh as its the only way I ever finish where I should. I either destroy everyone by minutes or destroy my GC hopes. |

Short TTT's and your team will fail.
Very long TTT's and your team will succeed above expectations.
Hence logically, simulating all TTT's is by far the most fair and reasonable option.

After getting Garneau into the WT I soon became bored and will now start a career with Hincapie Sportswear. I will keep the team 100% U23, and I will try to promote by year 2.
EDIT: After creating the career it took a whole 20 seconds for the game to crash, and I lost the save.

just did that stage 4 TTT, took a time of 29mins26 with Quickstep (selected their best TTers, would've been 5 mins down in real life )
then did the stage 17 TT, Nibali was the only guy under 53mins (with 52mins36s) - Contador (me) 2nd at +35 (Froome and Evans locked together at +6 from me)
seems that real life is a LOT faster than the game

It is. If you watch the speeds, flats are only 45km/h or so, not 60 like they were in Nice.

further proof
just won the pan-flat Dauphine TT by 21secs with a time of 42mins38 (with Martin), which was 5 and a half minutes slower than he did in real life, and would've placed him around 130th
note: playing individual stages, and difficulty is extreme

Even if you play Stage Race/Career, the TT physics are the same.

the gaps are pretty realistic though
just did the TDF stage 11 TT, and Martin/Cancellara/Froome were 50secs ahead of everyone else (Phinney and TJ being best of the rest) - as it actually was in real life
it's just that the average speeds are way out
thinking aloud here, could it be that the riders are just fixed in the middle of the road, so sweeping bends (see the descent yesterday where the moto was gapped, think it was Chavanel's TT) can't be achieved because they're permanently in the middle of the road (not too sure how this can be fixed though)
actually, that's my last post regarding comparison to real-life TT discussion, i'm deviating from the topic

I just won Ronde Van Vlaanderen with Michael Morkov on hard!
Just followed it up:
Michael Morkovs results in Ronde Van Vlaanderen:
2013: 1
2014: 4
2015: 6 (suffered a puncture, otherwise he'd have won )
2016: 2
And in Giro d'Italia 2016 I won by '14'' minutes with Froome. Kristoff finished 6th ahead of Majka.
Kristoff: 68 MO, 73 HIL, 81 SP, 80 COB
Majka: 80 MO, 78 HIL
Now, that's a result on hard |

You're too good at this game. Play on extreme The only thing I could have done on that list is have Majka lose to Kristoff in the Giro while playing as Majka

It was a big challenge to keep Kristoff ahead of Majka, but in the end, I succeed!
Yeah, I know, but I'm afraid, extreme is to tough for me |

I agree with bball , it seem pretty dubious.
I don't own pcm2013 but if these results are true it sounds like this particular .cdb has gone to pot.
On one hand it is great to win say a cobbled classic with some guy on 74 cobbles but to do that with a sprinter in a GT should not be feasible...period.
Also can you even be 'good' at PCM? , imo you can fall into two categories:
1 - Someone who knows what their doing
2- Someone who doesn't have a clue |

Custom Team Careers are totally awesome now. You can start at WT Level now and the youth riders are actually half decent for a team right away. |
