Ulissi winning again is great. Also great from Villella to get a third with a good startlist. |

Also a good race for Androni having 3 cyclists in top 10.

Zordan
Will be interesting whether which one of Villella, Zordan or Zurlo will be the most successful in future.

I think Villella will be the one with more Italian 1.1 wins.

Paris-Bourges (1.1)
Those two will battle it out most likely for the crown of the late French classics / sprinter classic - Paris Tours.

Yes, not a huge amount of competition (Bouhanni is there but lost position I think to end top 10), but from quite a way back nonetheless.
Was watching it on the ToB YouTube channel which has a live HD stream for those interested. Unfortunately it's Phil commentating, who called Pettachi for the win for the first minute afterwards, despite him finishing 4th about a bike length down |

Thor seems to be acting a bit like a yoyo this season. Maybe next year he can time it so he wins something of imprtance
There's a fine line between "psychotherapist" and "psycho the rapist"

None can deny the God of Thunder!
Not sure what was going on there with OPQS but Nikolas Maes must have had a second wind or something. Followed Hushovd up the same line to finish third ahead of the AleJet. |

Tour of Beijing (WT)
Stage 1 » Shunyi › Huairou Studio City (190.5k/118.4m)
Mezgec is the new Farrar/Rojas. So many 2nd, 3rd and 4th places this season without a win. Maes improved this season very nicely.

Nope, Farrar won once in a 2.1 race Alakagom so now those comparisons are over.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

It can not really be much competition when Chan Jae Jang finishes 16th in his WorldTour debut, I must say. |
