Tour de France 11 Stage 19: Modane > L'Alpe D'Huez 109km
schleck93
This reminds me so much of 2004, Voeckler could go from zig-zag to Pantani in mere seconds several times on the same climb.

Also Evans and Basso with still good chances. The gap freezes at 1:30, so they might have a good chance to come back with some helpers on the descent and flat part. Then they can start Alpe d`Huez with more energy.

I am a bit worried about Voeckler. He will drag himself into an early grave if he keeps this up.

The peloton is still quite big given how the stage has been ridden.

BMC is doing good now, 2 minutes at the top isn't bad at all. I think Evans could take back 1 minute, only on Alpe d'Huez, on Schleck/Contador.

And as it stands now, Basso and Evans' helpers has every chance of being very close to Schleck/Contador at the foot of Alpe d'Huez.

Evans was with them but had a mechanical. Voeckler and Frank were also there but blew up.
