correct. But to edit dyn_cyclist, I have to have a game in story mode and load it with Lachis editor right?


There is no way to edit a saved game without?


Contador f.schleck, etc, are without a saved game ...

DB (Stage race, race mode... no career) : Mydoc/PCM2010/database/)
SaveGame: (career) : Mydoc/PCM2010/database/solo/DBname/yoursavegame)

You can open both files with Lachi`s editor. Then changes in the DB influence all modes but career mode and all careers that you start afterwards.
The savegame just influence the actual game. So for example your already started career.

DYN_cyclist -> gene_sz_tga_skin. The word here corresponds to the first part of the face file name (the one before the underline). Then the files need to be placed on Program Files/Cyanide/PCM 10/CM_Textures/cycliste/skin.

Uhh i use the fast editor but i can't find gene_sz_tga_skin. but i do find just skin so I name a file maaskant because i named it maaskant.tga in the file withs skins, but when i'm ingame the face is still the standard one. don't really know what i'm doing wrong ?

The Fast Editor indeed renames some columns to make it easier to understand what that table is about. Gene_sz_tga_skin is indeed 'Skin' in Fast Editor. As for what you did wrong: as I said before, the word in this column corresponds to part of the file name. Take a look in the other face files, they all are named [gene_sz_tga_skin]_visage. You'll also need a _peau file, which is the skin tone of the rest of the body (look for a file from another rider which has similar tone, make a copy and rename it).

Okay thanks lluuiiggii it works now, but how do I save the faces in this thread as a TGA. file ?

You'll need an image editor such as GIMP or Paint.net or also an image converter such as DDS converter 2 (well there are a lot but it's the one I use and it's very simple), so you need to save in .jpg, and then convert it to TGA.

Thanks lluuiiggii, with the first one, boasson hagen' there was'nt any problem because boasson hagen already had a _peau file as wel, but Hesjedal didn't had one so i use a simular one but when I go ingame. Hesjedal has the face of the rider where I got the _peau file from. So 'like always" I'm making a mistake,
can you help me out again ?

well hesjedal didn't had a _peau so I used one from another rider

Yes, I understand that, but what did you do, you made a copy and renamed it hesjedal_peau?

yes I copied the _peau file of Maaskant and renamed it to hesjedal_peau (I already made hesjedal_visage) so I changed the DB. I go ingame and.. hesjedal looks exactly like Maaskant

Well I'm not sure what could have happened. Try to run some tests:
- replace the hesjedal_visage file with another face (very different) and see if it's working;
- replace the _peau file with one from another rider (not Maaskant) and see what happens in game.
