I guess its probably where they update the site really quickly to reflect the signing, but before there has been any chance to do media prep work, so the graphics guys just part a headshot from elsewhere onto a default Lampre shirt shot. Its not really that shocking tbh, this sort of thing happens alot. Its a nice spot though.
The Horner stuff just gets more amusing. Even funnier is the comment sections under any article about it. It just like Lance all over again XD |

They probably photoshopped him onto someone else's body for the lols, as I believe some people would say, or for the sake of it. As in hey, let's play this game where we decapitate people and stitch their heads onto others body.
Also how do you know they didn't actually do that.... |

I see no one has mentioned the new Belgian Continental team that has started up (for both road and CX):
https://www.cyclin...ental-team
Hulsmans was brought on as team leader, which is a great signing, and they also have Ruijgh and Kevin Peeters. A few other names are mentioned in the article as linked to them.

Has been posted a couple of pages back. Main forces behind the team are Soccer player Timmy Simmons and OPQS DS Wilfried Peeters (so his nephew Rob has a team for the CX season).

Looks like Tinkoff will have to change his plans yet again if he wants a World Tour license.
Cannondale have acquired a majority stake in the ownership of the Cannondale Pro Cycling team and the management\holding company behind it (Brixia Sports). Discussions with Tinkoff Credit Systems have now ceased as a result.

Interesting, without Tinkoffs money I wonder how will they keep Sagan for next year.

Well, there's been reports that Sagan didn't want to ride for Tinkov anyway.
Anyway, it says a lot about Tinkov that no one, apparently, wants his millions of euro. Quite surprising. |

Yeah, you don't want to see that second sponsor bitches about everything and acts like he's the majority owner. |

That is the good message from both Peter and the team (also other teams). Money should not be everything in the sports.
Sagan apparently said somewhere that he would leave if Tinkov was into Cannondale, so it is opposite of Cannondale needing Tinkov to secure his services...

You would think that they would pull out all stops to keep him, he is marketing gold for Cannondale and his name alone would be boosting bike sales. With Cannondale putting more money in should give them time to find a secondary sponser

In this particular case, it was reported that he wanted to take over the majority stake of the team - which makes sense, because the issues with Riis/Saxo stem from the fact that Tinkov couldn't get as much influence as he wanted to (x amount of Russian riders, first sponsor name etc.). |

In other news, CAS has overturned the rule that prevented comeback-dopers such as Contador to gain World Tour / sporting value points two years after the suspension. |

Cookson investigators seized UCI computers right after election
https://www.cyclin...r-election
Pretty hardcore stuff. Right after BC was elected President, he had a security firm that was on standby, raid the UCI headquarters in Aigle to secure evidence of the UCI's shady past.
