looks like a good all round performance by Fuglsang
his sprint ability is 65 (I think), but there were several small hills before hills and most of competent sprinters were disqualified for overdue time limit in last stage on Blockhaus...as you can see, all from TOP10 are climbers or puncheurs |

I´ve already played stages 19 & 20, but I´m not sure if I want to make at least one report today...results are not as good as I hoped for and it´s quite late |

Stage 19

Today stage is hilly with hard final climb at Vesuvio. We can expect hard pressure from Liquigas team, our only goal is minimize any possible loss and keep Maglia rosa.
Dani Moreno is alone in front with comfortable 5' lead at the foot of Vesuvio climb.

It´s Barredo, LL Sanchez and Soler who managed to sneak away from pack before climbing!

13km to go, Franco Pellizotti and his crushing attack!

Garzelli must react, but his acceleration is not as fast as we´d like to see!

Franco is flying like an eagle! He is going easilly over SBS group!

Garzelli, Fuglsang and Monfort are joining them few moment later, but Franco is far ahead. Gap between Stefano and Franco is 23" atm and is increasing...

LL attacks, Stefano counters,...

...but not for long, Sanchez looks stronger and Stefano can´t follow!

Luis Leon is going over Pellizotti, this guy must be in top shape!

5km for Moreno, his lead shrinked to 1' before Sanchez, Pellizotti is another 25" back.

3km before line, Pellizotti has both Caisse guys in sight...

Garzelli and Barredo are about 50" back.

2km to go, Franco takes a lead!

Stefano doesn´t give up, he dropped Barredo and has already Moreno and Sanchez in sight.

Last kilometer for Pellizotti!

Garzelli joins exhausted Moreno, LL Sanchez is few seconds ahead, Pellizotti about 50"...it could be close!

Pellizotti takes stage #3!

Unfortunately Garzelli cracked in last hundred meters and lost another 15", finishing 3rd after Sanchez...Franco gained 1'05" + 12' of bonification today, which means we have new race leader!!! Great stage with very unpleasnt results for us...

I hope you will win! Stefano deserves it towards his older days! Can you tell me what the mountain and hill stats of Montfort are? He rides pretty good but in my DB he only as 74 MO and 73 HL... |

Stage 20

Penultimate stage of race. As there is hilly sprint, it could come some chance to gain bonification seconds and decreasing gap before last short time trial.
Tadej Valjavec wins last mountain race, of course it couldn´t change anything with Gibo´s win in mountain competition.

We are just before final hilly sprint, Garzelli is well positioned behind Gilbert and Barredo. Can he fill our tactics plan?

No, his legs didn´t well and finished 5th. Good thing is that I saved my pants in last moment, Philippe Gilbert wins today!

My plan is to play tomorrow, as well report
I´m afraid I won´t be able to beat Pellizotti for 18", TT is quite short and Stefano is already very tired (fitness 94)...on the other hand he is slightly better time trialist, so I hope it isn´t decided yet |

Well, i think the crew who made my DB weren't such a fan of Montfort, in my DB he is a help in the mountains but not a good one... |
