Well more than a 200m sprint
Until Furlan, Berzin and Argentin come out of retirement, that's what you will get

first Fleche?
it's always about Mur..at least that long as I have been following.
We can call Amstel 20 rider sprint as not expected end..also at Liege more action extected..but Fleche is about Mur
Fourth time. Iknow the race is boring, but last climb is usually more exiting than this.
I think it was probably more boring today as Valverde won quite easily really. |

Doesn't make it not sh*t. The Women managed to make it exciting and not just about the Muur so yes i can and will call this a sh*t classic
Why you always talk about the women's races? Men's races are much more even and professional so that is to be expected.. |

The course made it the strongest rider winning. I guess it wasnt that bad, more slection then usual. Minus that penultimate climb maybe purito or alba i still dont think so |

Because hes a perv Men's cycling is much more competitive so you can't simply breakaway and get a solo win that easily. Obviously. |

Interesting to see how you are so certain about Valverde cheating but always supporting Team Sky. |

Without defending Team Sky Valverde is worse in my book as well though.
Having been busted for doping and never acknowledged that he has done anything wrong he's one of the most obvious dopers in the entire peloton for me. Why would he stop if he thinks he did nothing wrong?

Kind of agree, but correct me if I'm wrong, has Valverde actually ever tested positive?
As far as I'm aware, his name was found in relation to the Fuentes case but he has never testes positive right? So maybe he's one of these riders from the CIRC report that said that as they haven't actually tested positive, he considers himself clean.
Not defending him though, having your name linked to Fuentes can only suggest one thing. |

On favour of Valverde he's never been tested positive and has won the same before and after the ban.
Against him, something had happened if you've been "friends" with the three Spanish gangsters (Belda, Fuentes and Sainz) (we'll he had no relation with Sainz but with the other two yes)

gargatouf: True. His blood was found on in operation Puerto so not really much doubt. Just turned into quite a long case since the Spanish authorities was only willing to help investigate foreign riders...
Dopeology has him down for EPO as well: https://www.dopeology.org/people/Aleja..._Valverde/
