I was having this problem last night in ane of the hilly stages of the TdF (the one to Mende). My main climber (Mo stat 77, Hi stat 78) tried to attack out of the bunch with about 10km to ride, and basically went backwards. However, replaying the same stage I put him on dot at 85, and he pulled away from the front of the peloton.......
....doesn't make a lot of sense to me! |

A very good question, Oleg, and something I've been wondering about myself. |

In my eyes the stage pack isn`t really necessary any longer. All stages are made plus enough variants.
Also the game is quite playable, so I don`t care about any update.
It`s just annoying that they stopped their "service" again totally on the forum.
Just in the stage area Svam is answering quite regularly. |

I'm happy with the game, there's only so much you can do to a game before it comes unplayable or gies back to square one, if they keep messing around with it.

I don't think that more patches can be expected unless people complain as much as they did prior to patch 1.0.4.1 |

The last patch was a beta - they haven't gone and finalized without me noticing have they? Not really expecting a 'new' patch.
Stage pack I imagine as said is not really needed anymore - would be nice to release any that have been made though. |

The last patch is still "beta", although in their forum.
But there is no real difference between beta and official since they deactivated the auto-update.
So don`t expect anything more from their side...

I agree with you that it is not perfect. But it is more playable since 1.0.4.1. So now I can enjoy the game, what I couldn`t do before this patch.
That`s what I meant.
I also agree with you that not all stages by the community have the same quality than Cyanide`s stages.
I am not happy with it, that they "stopped" working on it and there is almost no answer on their forum.
they probably did more and longer something for PCM 10 than for all other PCM.
So I don`t expect something more and hope that they learned from our critical response and do better next year. It might be dreaming

there's also a bug affecting sprints that causes riders to suddendly stop 3 meters from the line and get passed by all other riders, even if the rider speed displayed doesn't decrease and is greater than the other riders' speed.
it seems that cya boys have gone back to silence, it's really annoying...

I mentioned this a few times before. It isn`t a real bug, because the sprinter isn`t supposed to be 1st. Normally this rider should have lost speed over the whole sprint and be overtaken by some riders. But in very few sprints (mostly when there are some hills and the rider is a bit tired) the game realize this too late. So it looks like he stays 5m to the line and becomes 7th for example in the end.
Normally he would also become 7th but over the whole sprint.
So the result is like it is supposed to be but the animation sucks.
Cyanide reproduced this one but can`t obviously fix the animation. |

They could fix it, but they don't care because [........] (just fill it with whatever you think, all answers are correct) |

it's quite strage cause it happened to me with ciolek twice on a flat stage, he has been perfectly lead out and his yellow and red bar were far from empty.
in any case, even if results are as expected, it's pretty annoying, you can't rely on what you see on the screen to set your sprint tactic. |

I have two problem occuring often.
One is that when I select detailed simulation, the game crashes.
With the other the game also crashes in 3D just before MY first rider crosses the finish line.
Both are random, sometimes in the first minutes after launching, sometimes after playing for a while.
I have 1.0.4.1 beta patch and PCM v2.1. |

I have 1.0.4.1 beta patch and PCM v2.1. You might have to reduce the graphic options and turn off the recording of the replay to reduce the crashes during 3D games. |

iv lost alot of interest in this game since this update, the breakaways are usually between 10-14 riders and never stays away, the first attacks of the day always get caught, every stage is to predictable |

not all breaks are caught....

as evidenced by Steve Cummings winning this stage from the break in the Vuelta a Murcia.
The first attacks of the day are caught in most real life stages as well. Often it can take a very long time irl for the peloton to let a break get away! Personally I think the game is in a decent state atm, the only major issue I have is with "sticky" mountain climbing, where attacks aren't quite strong enough compared to the riders pulling the peloton along. |

i have breakaways stay away all the time, the only thing i dont like about the game is trying to attack on mountain stage near impossible to get away from peleton, bout the time you spent all your energy attacking your like 1foot ahead of them which is annoying. |
