Once again people:
The green jersey is a consistency jersey, not a sprinter's jersey

It's a consistent sprinters jersey, were it meant purely for consistency mountain stages would give the same points as sprint stages

Try to see where im going with my line of thought here...
Yes, it is possible, but as that random Norwegian said, it's a points jersey, not a sprinters jersey.
We're just arguing over your put down of Ruben for saying that Thor is NOT a complete sprinter.
Plus, Cav won one last year in his challenge for the points jersey. And many other sprinters have fought for them in seasons past.
I hope you are not referring to me? Being Danish that would really be quite an insult.
Now flaunting my very first avatar...

But still ASO is favouring the pure sprinters by giving more points on flat stages. |

It's not really for sprinters. Take this example, which could never happen, but is in theory correct:
A rider, who can't sprint for shit, get's high placing in most stages with points, by going in breaks. He would win green, he isn't a sprinter.

No, because you're not Norwegian. I clearly said that random Norwegian, in clear referrence to that Norwegian bloke. Not a Danish bloke. If I was referring to you, I'd probably have put "jacknic" or "jacko". Probably.
Waghlon, normally I have no care to protect Ruben, but I feel I like Ruben more than you? I am unsure as to why. Perhaps it was more against that Random Norwegian who was posting just random crap?
Nicolas Roche would be a perfect example of a rider capable of [possibly challenging for, if not] winning the points jersey if he fought for placings on flat stages. He'd be able to get enough top 15-20's in pretty much every stage to get right up there [in my personal, and unprofessional, opinion].

I can actually explain that: We had a like really big and bad fight that lasted all of 2009 and some of 2008. That sorta explains it.

The whole VizleFX debacle. And we settled it back when you agreed to make jerseys to my Man Game team.

That began in 2008? I also read through the Mod Forum and found out it was YOU!
And it ended then? I thought that was just me getting one up over you, by making you wait many many days for the jersey.

Because listening to them 2 years ago, you'd think by now a blind deaf and mute kid in Swaziland would know who they are and worship them.

I kind of think, a competition is a competition. The arrangers set the rules, and the competitors fight to be as good as possible after the rules. How these rules are set, makes Hushovd win the competition, and then he also deserves it.
The rules have, as far as i know, never been more sprinter-friendly.

Hushovd deserves everything he wins. He almost alone made cycling popular in Norway and now see how many Norwegians travel to France every year. Now the biggest channel has over 6-7 hours of Tour de France every day during the period. With some awesome coverage and commentators. btw Johan Kaggestad is gonna take a nude bath in the fountain in Pau xD |
