His arrogant attitude and unlimited self belief may not win him many friends amongst the cycling community. However, it does win him LOTS of races and last time I looked, that was his job and what he will ultimately be judged on (not in a religious sense!).
No one remembers a nice guy who lost all the time.
More and more I tend to see Cavendish as an arrogant and selfish rider. I admire his skills but I think I wont ever be able to respect him as a cyclist,,,
True gentlemen are becoming very rare in this sport...
