Hoooray!!!! My first victory!!! I must be grateful to my sponsors, to my family and to my friends, who always have entrusted me. And to my classy driving, to take first place in the last lap.
Just joking; I guess rain gives me luck always. |

Hi guys. I've just got my 1st victory in a public game. 2008 F1, driving a really awful Toro Rosso. I've managed a 2nd place in the qualy (quite difficult, on the other hand, because my team mate isn't any cooperative) and I've just worn badly my soft tyres during practice, qualy and warmup, so I got to use hard tyres for the race. But it just worked nice, because I was able to put the Tyre use slider at max, and even so the tyre wear was small, and I got the fastest lap not having the best car neither the best setup.
So, unless some of the pros around here have a better advice, I guess it's better to use a hard compound and 100 Tyre use slider than to use a slight compound and less Tyre abuse. At least, that worked for me. |

In venues like Monaco and Hungaroring that's absolutely true. As for the others, tyre abuse at 100 may cause you to retire. I've tried it myself a couple of times and both times I retired due to "driving mistake". I checked with the pros and they all told me that that's because the bar was at 100. It's a question of luck. Except in technical courses like Monaco and Hungaroring.
PS: I'm (still) pissed at you for taking the win away from me in the last lap

Thanks for the advice. And, if that makes you feel better, in my Bahrain race of the F1 2008 championship, I was 7th until the last lap, and then a McLaren and a BMW passed me away, taking me out of scoring a single point! |

I see. I'm a little worried because I've using various computers to play the game, and I've only just realised that that's not a good idea at all. |
