I disagree Crue. He was playing the percentages. Gambling c. 20 yards for a touchdown to most likely win the game. I would have done the same thing!
But what a display of fine defending by the Giants. I was sure it would be a Giants defender to be MVP untill Eli tore himself loose from that grasp of two Pats players to set up Tyree. Amazing play, well worht the MVP, by either player!
Go Mannings!
Manager of Protour champions 2008, Carlsberg Cycling!! (wow is it that long ago I was in the management game?)
In a SuperBowl - which statistically always are very, very close - you simply need to get all the points you can. Taking chances are for the last part of the game. Until then, get the points you can. Especially against a such well-playing Giants defense.
Agreed, I think that play will do down in history no doubt. Overall, what a fantastic game, might have been the best I have ever seen a beautiful outcome seeing I was rooting for Eli. Next year it'l be the Ravens holding the Vince Lombardi Trophy, mark my words

Off school? Why is that? I had my first day at school today after 2½ week of holiday. Speaking of bad timing...

Because of the Department of Education's "brilliant" idea about something called an AT-exam, where we have February to work on a synopsis (only 5 days off from school though), which we will examined in, when the shit hits the fan in May/June.
they picked it up, they started attacking more which is what they should have done in the 3rd also. They were layed back and only attacked when they needed to.
There's no point slapping a schleck - Sean Kelly on "Who needs a slap"
the guy on the BBC (some US sports journalist) said 'Has he got the part of jesus in a movie yet' that made me laugh
BBC's coverage was great actually they had 2 NFL stars who knew what they were on about and went direct to NFL's network coverage with commentators who do every game then when they went to commercials BBC went back to studio. Great really can't complain
