I see I missed one donate. Let's get an overview on young van Gorcum then.

MrEsuperstar has mystically disappeared. The latest reports was that he was travelling to Bermuda and then Florida, supposedly to visit family in his vacation.
His family hasn't heard anything from him and it's suggested that he vanished in the infamous Bermuda Triangle.

Hello folks, sorry I disappeared there for a while. For those that didn't see my message to the greater cycling community about my lack of activity, you can read that here. Sadly, I still can't return to my duties as Island Runners' manager for another two weeks as I'm currently without permanent WiFi until then.
I want to thank our loyal support group for their patience.
It's been a slow month, but a lot of interesting things have happened.
In a Galaxy Far Far Away...
We started the month having to say goodbye to Tajo Sylvester. We allowed the 14 year old to accept a contract with the Los Angeles Galaxy development program to avoid the risk of other cyclists demanding a wage. Sylvester has yet to make a start for the U16 team, but is on the verge of breaking into the starting XI - or so he says.
The Replacement
With the departure of Sylvester we had a void to fill. After a few scouting trips I narrowed down the applicants to four and eventually we settled on another British Virgin Island cyclists: Umar Van Gorcum. A childhood friend of Sylvester's that looks to be a mountain climbing prodigy. Time will tell.
Disappearance
After the monthly training and scouting, I "vanished" for a couple of weeks to deal with some personal business. I'm happy to report back that everything is fine now and I'm glad to get back in the saddle as the team manager. Thanks to the rest of the staff for keeping the team focused while I was gone.

Here's how the squad is looking. Pretty average if you ask me.
Some interesting discovers from the internal scouting though. Emeterio Amory has some work to do on the flat, J.J. Pike has some potential as a punchuer and Bastian Rollins can't time trial.

Chaz Johnson | First Monthly Award
Recommended by Corey Reinhold since I was gone.
"Chaz has become friends with everyone on the team. His positive attitude while training keeps everyone motivated to push that little bit more. He might not be the best cyclist, or even average, but his passion and personality are second to none."
sammyt93 for staying calm when his scouted cyclist decided to go to the MLS and for helping us to go back to the British Virgin Islands and sign Van Gorcum. Pick your prize, PM with your decision. Congrats!

RACING!!! Our first professional races are finally here. One squad will be going to the Czech Republic for the three stage East Bohemia Tour, while three cyclists will grab their TT gear and go to France for the Chrono Champenois.
Not sure what to expected. The startlist at the East Bohemia Tour is rumored to be quite small (which is why we got invited), so maybe we can content for a good GC placing. And just showing our team colors in France will be an achievement at the Chrono Champenois - we don't have the best time trial squad (yet).
