Do I fail maths or did Menchov just finish 20 seconds off 2nd place on GC?
I think he's 1:01 behind Schleck.
I fail at math. 1:22 behind. |

Are these TT results a sign that the drugs are playing a very little part in the race now? (compared to previous years) |

So....Contador crying.
With good reason. He's equalled Bobet, LeMond and the great Phillipe Thys.

Though Contador and Schleck probably would've raced differently, if time bonuses still existed Schleck would have, at least, most of the time he needed, if not more. |

Fignon just said.
Schleck loses by 39 seconds, exactly the time Andy lost in Chaingate

If's work both ways. Contador could've even lost time wearing himself out trying to break Andy on Tourmalet since he would need to. |

Yeah and he would have lost minutes on stage two and Saxo pulled on stage three when Contador was caught behind the crash... And so on. It was a great duel between two very evenly matched riders. The best man won. Now let's just leave it at that. I think it has been a great tour and we still have a battle for green tomorrow!

Okay tell me if im the only one who saw this: Contador had to move back on this seat a lot more than you usually do. Like every 5 or 6 seconds. I betting you infinite money that cost at least 10 seconds today.

So...
Andy didn't attack when Contador was in a bad day,
He lost a lot of time in the Prologue,
He lost time because of his chain,
And Fränk wasn't there to help him in mountains...
He lost by only 39 secs
I would be mad!

Can we get Petacchi, Hushovd and Cavendish on the same point?

Andy could have won this Tour de France. But he could also have been out of the GC after the 2nd stage.
Next year is going to be very, very interesting. |
