Like in the TV show, he raced for 1h but managed to sneek in 45' episode.
This might be the easiest win for Jack ever, no gun , no drug, no terrorism... NZ is a clam and nice place to live in

NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIP
Meenhorst/Team Differdange, Vennell/Bissell, Van Uden/Node4 and Gate/An Post rode away from the rest of the field after just five kilometres and have built a massive lead of 27m 33s
The lead has gone out to over thirty minutes
Jack Bauer/Team Novo Nordisk has decided to chase alone but is making little impression in to the advantage
He continues to pound out a steady rhythm on the pedals
With over twenty minutes still in hand the winner is going to come from these four
Gate/An Post is trying to pull away
It was at this point that the Race Organisers decided that the pack would not be included in the Final outcome of the race due to the size of the lead and as such the New New Zealand Champion would only be decided from our four breakaways
But it doesn't last for long as they are back together again
Vennell leads the way as they enter the final kilometre
And he just has enough left in the tank to become the new Champion of New Zealand
| 1 | Jeremy Vennell | Bissell Cycling | 4h58'35 | | 2 | Roman Van Uden | Node 4 - Giordana Racing | s.t. | | 3 | Aaron Gate | An Post - Chainreaction | s.t. | | 4 | Alex Meenhorst | Team Differdange - Losch | s.t. |
Well i have to say that i have never witnessed that before in a Professional cycle race, but rules are there for a reason and as such the pack would all have finished outside the time limit |

Ian Butler - I have to say that it was really weird watching the whole bunch come to a dead stop just inside the last ten kilometres |

Oh come one Phil...... we know your 'little secret'.
You are a cannibal..... you literally ate up the opposition .... and the team!

I least he didn't make a mess on his shirt! |

I think you should always go in the break in the NZRR
