Today's stage is the second and last in the Pryenees. There are four cat 1 climbs on the day, the last of them tops out at 30 kms to go.
The Favorites
In a group sprint Purito has the fastest finish. Can he take another stage win and close the deficit on Nibali?
Vincenzo Nibali showed that he is in good form yesterday extending his lead over his rivals to 1 minute. Can he gain more time today?
If Rodriguez has a bad day there is no reason that Alejandro Valverde can' take the win in a select group sprint.
The Outsiders
Chris Froome had a bad day on the summit finish and finds himself almost 2 minutes down on Nibali. He will need to try to pull back some time today.
The pair of Uran and Betancur have showed that they are the best on their team on Ax3 Domaines. They should be looking to move onto the podium today.

At the top of the first climb of the day it was Pinot of France taking first ahead of Fulgsang of Denamrk. These two formed the day’s break along with Andy Schleck of Luexembourg and Daniel Moreno of Spain.
Moreno took the points at the top of the second climb ahead of Pinot; Jens Voigt is 4 minutes back and trying to bridge the gap to the leaders.
Moreno was once again first over the next climb and the quartet of leaders have a 6 minute advantage to the peloton.
The sprint point was taken by Andy Schleck, and all the sprinters had been dropped by this time so no change in the green jersey competition.
Shortly after the sprint point three men attacked out of the bunch: Horner of USA, Brajkovic of Slovenia, and Majka of Poland.
Moreno took the points on the climb putting his total at 31 points. The leaders have 2 minutes to the trio of chasers who have 2 15 to the peloton.
With 35 km to go the chasers give up and are brought back into the bunch. The 60 man peloton trails the leaders by 3 minutes.
With 1 km to the summit of the final climb Moreno puts in a big attack and is first over the summit. However, all the riders got back together and they will fight it out for the win.
With 10 km to go Pinot puts in a big move to try to take France’s first stage win of the race.
With 5 km to go Pinto has 8 seconds to the Fulgsang, Schleck, and Moreno.
With 3 km to go Pinot still has 8 seconds advantage.
With 1.5 km to go Daniel Moreno has caught and passed Pinto and is flying away to take another win for Spain.
At the finish Moreno takes a brilliant win! Pinot takes second, Fulgsang third and Schleck fourth. L. L. Sanchez lead in the bunch 3 15 later to take fifth.

Pinot takes over white ahead of Betancur.
Didn't have time to do the ultra points right now will do them soon and will post them in this post.
Due to high school football taking up all of my time everyday except Sunday, this story is REALLY going to slow down. I will finish the story, but there will probably only be 1-2 stages per week. Also I will be doing shorter reports and previews so i can get the most stages possible in the shortest amount of time.
