Paolo didn't go that early - he went about half way, and played a great tactical race - I think he sat in behind Knees, who did all the work, then he powered away towards the end to take a podium spot

Dessel's still going strong in 4th
and he should beat Contador in the TT, which will shake him off his tail, and hopefully he can get closer to the guys in fornt as well, maybe nick a podium

Vinokourouv is NOT doped.
What you seem to remember is an unfortunate incident in the parrallel world last year where he got trown out of the Tour. If you look at the real results from last year, you will see he finished 2nd.
So he wouldnt have been doped!

Ok, played the next stage (report tomorrow) - it features Le Grand Duc, a hill top finish with gradient's up to 12% - all I'm going to say is tomorrow's 12km mountain time trial is going to be very, very interesting

what's Dessel TT stat? Contador has 74 and should beat Dessel in the next MT stageB)
