I understand perfectly now, basically for riders who are good hill but not so good TT there is time to be made up on the climbs over the better TT riders therefore reducing losses in stage races or even increasing leads  .I shall try it in the next hilly TT maybe the volta a portugal has one, or the eneco tour if we go

I'll be looking out for the next TT. I don't think either Portugal or Eneco has one.

Actually both races have ITT
Volta a Portugal has one, 33km long. Eneco has one as well 17km long.

Well i meant a hilly TT. Since you know it better is Portugal's TT a hilly one?

@brewers90: Curtis Jackman is leading the team for the Giro as it has lots of mountain top finishes so I think it will play to his advantages , he may also come back at the end of the season to take the Vuelta but maybe he will let Nibali try and win that as he doesn't want to just win everything it would be too easy  |
