If there's bonification seconds, yeah, why not. He's shown better form then last season.
Maybe Gesink will be Rabobanks teamleader for the GC though. Stage 6 looks hard enough to have time gaps.
We'll see. |

Even if the tour can't set a good route the Dauphine still can, although I can see why Lance is bailling on the embarasment he would suffer here.

Stage 5 and 6 look interesting (of Pologne). Of course it will also depend a bit on who will be riding there.
Can't wait for the Dauphiné. It will probably be more exciting than the Tour. |

It's just the way the profiles are stretched vertically to make them appear much harder. They're the same as the previous years. The race hasn't been exciting since 2005
EDIT: I mean Poland

You can never go wrong with Alpe D'Huez. Regardless of race.

It always is. It is more attacks in the Dauphiné than the whole Tour. |

The Tour of Britain route has been announced. Stage 3 stands out as one that could finally provide a challenging hilly stage in the race, not only with climbs during the stage, but also at the finish.
Constitution Hill will apparantely be in it, with the stage finishing in Swansea

Last used in 1999, on a stage won by Raimondas Rumsas, its a mile long steep cobbled climb - as steep as 1 in 3 (approx. 30%).

No, typical British rain is a medium to light drizzle. |

No, typical British rain is a medium to light drizzle.
In fact, I meant the frequency of the rain and thus the chance of this hill being slippery when they ride it, not the intensity... |

Not in that part of Britain. Lots of drizzle, yes, but a lot more violent downpours!

I can vouch for this, everytime i've been in that part of Britain, this happened.
However, no rain here since I got back from France, so thats good.

Having raced in Wales the last two summers for 5 day tours, it's either been 25 degrees and awfully un-windy, so I baked to death. Or it's been a downpour. Normally a downpour on the hardest stages.
